Guest guest
Tiff This is the second time someone has brought up L-Glutamine here...that I know of. I bought some a while back when someone else hear (sorry can't remember who) suggested it. I just never brought myself to take it yet. I think I will start today. My brain fog is very, very bad. I hate to tell you some of the stupid things I've done because of it. The worse for me is my mom passed away the week before Christmas and my brain is in such a fog that I can't seem to deal with it. I know she died...I haven't seen her in some times (difficulties between us) and I want to deal with all this but can't put the thoughts together. I am desperate to get my brain working somewhat again. I will try the L-Glutamine and hope for the best. Jaye Tiff <bestel63@...> wrote: Thanks Heidi, Cathleen & Jim! I do have IC but am not normally sensitive to foods/drinks/supplements, etc. But this one sure got me. I think I will follow your advice and just continue to NOT take them, at least for now. I sure don't want that pain back! My energy level was so low and my B-12 level was in the normal but low end of normal range which is one reason I had been taking the supplement. It's been a few months now that I haven't been taking it and since adding L-glutamine my head has cleared immensely and my energy increased gradually. I've been treating the Babesia for 1 month now plus a handful of other supplements and my energy level is through the roof most days. It's bizarre to me, lol! So... I'm not too worried about B's right now. I know there are other reasons B's are good, but hey... Best to you all! Tiff --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. Make your homepage. Guest guest
Hi Jaye, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. You will be able to deal with it when you're ready. I think I know what you mean, it took me awhile to really deal with my dad's death year's ago. Start with a small amount of L-glutamine. I started with 1/2 teaspoon once a day. This brand was 3g per tsp. After 3 days I was SO sick! I was so nauseated, had the worst headache, so many symptoms came rushing back. It was awful so I had to stop taking it and wait for the symptoms to stop. Then I started again at 1/8 tsp and worked my way up slowly. Now I have a different brand that is 5g per tsp that I take once a day and I have no problems with it. I started that before I started any of the Buhner herbs so I know it was the L-glut that cleared my head. My short term memory is still a little out of wack but I can think straight and do math ) Best of luck, I hope this helps. --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. Make your homepage.
