Guest guest
Hi Robin many use the azoles (tinidazole, fluconidazole etc) with Lyme as the thought is that this will get at the CYSTIC and maybe even the L forms. some feel it may also get the cysts to revert back to a more killable regular spirochete form. Years ago I had excellent results combing tinid. with zithromax then I started to react horribly to the Zithro. not surprising given my sensitivity to Ketek and Erythro too- same family switched to some other ( foggy--cant recall what)with tinid put me into a good remission of a couple of years tinid is " safer " in some respects than flagyl et al. BUT Id stick with compunded ( capsules)and not commercial ie Tindamax--Ive heard mixed about it. Finette > > Just curious, - thought fluconazole is for candida, not Lyme.
