Guest guest
, I was so sorry to hear about Diego. I send you my prayers. I am going through chemotherapy myself right now for breast cancer, but it is not scary. Keep your faith and God will be with you. Again you are both in my prayers. -Coady ---------- From: Siabala, <MSiabala@...> onelist (DOT) com (E-mail) < onelist>; Still Disease Group (E-mail) <stillsdisease@...> Subject: [ ] Thank you very much Date: Monday, June 21, 1999 1:28 PM Today, I'm more calm. The shock is in the past and now I'm waiting for the results of the tests and the next steps for the treatment. Maybe the type of leukemia is myeloid, I'm learning about this and I know that Diego will have hard times very soon but the hope that is treated is bigger . Thank you very much for your words and your support With love, --------------

Little Diego and yourself have become our friends and we care very much about your well being. I wish we lived closer to one another so I could help in more obvious ways but if there is anything that I can do over here that would be helpful, don't hesitate to ask, okay? Stay strong. You will overcome this. <p>Take Care, <br>Georgina <p> " Siabala, " wrote: <blockquote TYPE=CITE> & nbsp;<span class=866105415-21061999><font face= " Arial " ><font size=-1>Today, I'm more calm. Guest guest
Hi , It's always nice to see a message here from you :-) I'm so glad to hear that you are comfortable with the chemotherapy and that it's not too scary for you. I've heard that it's very beneficial to have a positive outlook on these treatments. I have a close friend who went through chemo and a lymphectomy. She has been cancer free for more than 8 years, now. She's convinced that her positive attitude played a big role in her recovery. Keep us updated not just on your daughter but on you too, okay? There's lots of us who care. Aloha, Georgina Coady wrote: > , > > I was so sorry to hear about Diego. I send you my prayers. Guest guest
The answer is: 2. Confidentiality Confidentiality refers to having another person's confidence or having access to someone's personal affairs. A pharmacy technician has access to patients' health information along with insurance which oftentimes includes social security information. This information is not to shared with persons' outside the pharmacy in accordance with the HIPAA law. (You should familiarize yourself with HIPAA and it's basic points.) Motility is the ability of an object to move spontaneously. Mortality refers the relative freqeuncy of death in a scale such as the number of deaths caused by a drug. Compatibility is the ability of something (a drug) to exist in harmony with something else (another drug) and is usually followed by the word " with " such as " Tylenol is compatible with Avelox. " 21. Which of the following professional concepts most specifically refers to protection of the identity and health information of patients? 1. Motility 2. Confidentiality 3. Mortality 4. Compatibility Lynch-Brunozzi
Guest guest
Hi Tasha, When I went through company sponsored HIPAA training I was taught that I was to make a " reasonable effort " not to be over-heard by other customers in the store and that sometimes being overheard cannot be avoided. I disagree with that but the interpretation is there, I suppose, to protect the chain pharmacies who prefer to have their pharmacists visible at all times to the customers in the store. It makes more sense to me to have an area not accessible or visible to random customers passing by where pharmacy personnel can use a telephone for things such as receiving new prescriptions, calling for refill authorization or clarification of an rx or resolving third party issues. Unfortunately this is not the case in almost every pharmacy I have ever worked in. The phones are up front, near the computers and registers and customers. Anyone else have thoughts on this? Guest guest
Actually it took me about 1 hour and 15 minutes. I decided to do the other math problems that I posted first and answer some other email. Jeanetta > > Jeanetta: > > Thank you very very much!
