Guest guest Posted February 3, 2009 Report Share Posted February 3, 2009 Dear Family,On April the 3rd, 2009, three-thirteen warriors, that are disciples of the Healing of Humanity, will enter boot camp and on May 1st, 2009 these men and/or women will embark upon a Spiritual Journey, they will ride on horseback from Mobile, Alabama to Washington D.C. arriving on July the 4th, to inspire a Caravan of buses with doctors and nurses to come with them as they ride horseback to La Paz, ( The Peace) in Bolivia from Washington, D.C., this event will be known as the Longest Ride [Yes We Can], La Larga Caminata [si Se Puede].!The Healing of Humanity Campaign will be the united front organization that will be facilitating the event, and will be organizing the Caravan that the Riders will follow and it is suggested that it will consist of buses made into doctors offices and two trucks that convert into a stage, that will also be a part of the Longest Ride [Yes We Can].By the end of the Longest Ride [Yes We Can] The Healing of Humanity Campaign will strive to build a foundation to support a North-, Central-, and South American School of Medicine, to educate the poor to become doctors, that will serve the poor.So far we are five Reverends that have been spearheading this event and organization, and those Reverends are Rev. Dr. R. Barrera - Indian Ministry Outreach Chaplain, Rev. Graylan Hagler - Senior Minister of the Plymouth United Church of Christ, Rev. A. West - Associate Minister of the Plymouth United Church of Christ, Rev. Yonny Y - Church/Party of the Peoples Power and Rev. These thirteen men and women will ride on horseback from Washington, D.C. in the U.S. to La Paz in Bolivia and are disciples of the Healing of Humanity. The Riders will be dressed in uniform and will follow the liturgical color of the day. They will take a vow of silence and will not speak on stage nor will they speak to the media until the final destination has been reached. However the Healing of Humanity Campaign will give a report back each day. The Longest Ride will visit Churches and Social Halls, Mansions and Shacks, Cities and Towns throughout North-, Central-, and South America to inspire the Healing of Humanity.The Healing of Humanity Campaign, Inc will invite Doctors, Dentists and Nurses to partake in the Longest Ride by serving the poor and the sick throughout the Americas in five or seven accompanying buses that will be converted into doctors offices. The Healing of Humanity Campaign, Inc will also invite Preachers and Speakers from different organizations that will be accompanying the Longest Ride in passenger buses. The Healing of Humanity Campaign, Inc will also have three sleeper buses to accommodate room and board for the participants of the Longest Ride, as well as a vehicle for the accommodation of the horses and one for storage.The Healing of Humanity Campaign, Inc will also have two accompanying trucks that convert into a stage with a sound system that will be provided to the Preachers and the Speakers that are participating in the Longest Ride, as well as to visitor speakers, artists, musicians, preachers, teachers, representatives, presidents, senators, mayors, CEO’s, organizers, sponsors and many, many more.The Healing of Humanity Campaign, Inc wants to inspire everyone to partake in the Healing of Humanity. The Healing of Humanity Campaign, Inc is asking all the Presidents, Congresspersons, Senators, Mayors, officials and representatives of all countries to partake in the Healing of Humanity. The Healing of Humanity Campaign, Inc is asking every Union, Party, Organization, Church, Corporation, Club, Hospital, Government and Social Movement in every Country to be a part of the Healing of Humanity, to make a pledge to the Healing of Humanity and to participate in the Longest Ride.” ------------------------------------------------------------------- Supporting Note from Bolivia “The Longest Ride”: Yes we can [si, se puede] will be carried out by The Healing of Humanity Campaign leaving Washington, D.C. on the 1st of May 2009; the journey will take no more than 7 months and will be reaching the end destination, La Paz-Bolivia before December 2009.To reach the end destination, La Paz – Bolivia, the Longest Ride will follow the route of the Pastors for Peace Caravan, in honor of the struggle against the illegal blockade of Cuba, the struggle that the Interreligious Foundation for Community Organizing has so bravely engaged for twenty years. On the Longest Ride we will bring doctors and nurses and teachers, to inspire hope, because hope is an action.The Healing of Humanity Campaign has sought contact with this representation to ask if the Longest Ride will be welcome in Bolivia and it is hereby confirmed that Bolivia’s social movements will welcome the Longest Ride with open arms.
