Salt Water Purification Meditation

Before Starting or ending your day sometimes you need Peace of mind

Sit for a few minutes with a bowl of water with a pinch of salt. in front of you.

Breathe deeply, from your belly, and be sure you are you are grounded.

Allow your thoughts and feelings to arise, and let them flow into the

bowl as a stream of colors. Do not censor yourself.

You may feel grief or fear but you may also feel anger at any passed,

or current situation or just maybe you are worried about what will

happen Tomorrow (resentment, exhaustion, anxiety, even eagerness to get

the ordeal over with)

Allow all those feelings to flow into the bowl as energies.

Ask yourself some of the following questions:

Why am I here? What do I really feel about being here?

What are my fears?

What needs of my own might interfere with the the current situation?

What am I getting out of this? How important is it to me to be needed?

To feel that I personally control the spiritual atmosphere? Can I let

go? How do I feel when I am not in control?

Just let the answers surface and let the feelings and energies that

arise with them continue to flow into the bowl. remember that we ask

these questions not to judge ourselves, but to bring to light the

forces working within us that might otherwise rule unseen and to

transform them into useful energies.

When you are ready take another deep breath' imagine that you can

draw up energy from the earth and call down energy from the sun, moon

and the stars and let that energy flow into a bowl to charge the water.

When you sense that the energy has shifted, take some of the water back

by sipping some of it or touching it to your body, wherever you need it

the most, this act symbolizes that we are not trying to rid ourselves

of any of our emotions. Our feelings are energies. When we put them

into the salt water we acknowledge them and take back the energy they

represent, to use as we need.

Pour the rest of the water, if possible into the earth, or into a

running stream, if that is not practical go ahead and pour it down the

drain with the water running.

When time is too short to do the full meditation do a quick version

of it with water in the bowl of your cupped hands. traces of salt on

yyour skin will be present in the water. this is an excellent

meditation to do regularly before you go to sleep at night at this or

at any other stressful time in your life
