Guest guest Posted September 4, 2002 Report Share Posted September 4, 2002 Connie - I didn't have a rash but my itching stayed with me two weeks after completing the antibiotics for my third bite. Perhaps, your pharmacist may recommend something if Dr. G doesn't? With my second bite, I had terrible itchy rash all over me and the pharmacist gave me something that works for poison ivy that really worked. (I never tried it but but you may want to take Vitamin C with Quercitin if you think you can tolerate it.) Also, the pharmacist suggested bathing in an oatmeal powder that most pharmacies sell specifically for relieving the itches. It really soothed me during a terrible time. I am so sorry you have to deal with this!
