Guest guest
Sorry I have not been online in a while.... my mom, whom has lyme disease and has chosen to not 'take care of it' had breast cancer and ended up with a radical masectomy 7 yrs. ago. She was declared 'cancer free' for the last 7 yrs. Last week she was coming to NJ (from NC) and stopped to see her dr. at Duke Hospital because she had a lump. Dr. took a look, sent her right to pathology, cancer. Again. She will be operated on this Thursday but it is going to be quite difficult. They are going to take out her chest muscle also. I am asking those of you whom have been supportive of this cause and me for the past 6 yrs. to please say a prayer. It would mean alot to me. I still get so frustrated for those that don't want to listen, even when it threatens their lives. Thank you. sue in nj sue massie

Guest guest
Dear Sue, We've never spoken, but my heart goes out to you. I dealt with my own mom's plight with Breast Cancer. Your mom is in my prayers. Sue Rauch also in New Jersey
Guest guest
Sue... Your mom's situation is almost identical to our associate minister's. This woman is a wonderful person and we have established a weekly prayer group for her. I'll be happy to add your mom to our prayers. Could you give me her first name? .... Guest guest
I will be praying to Sue. If you don't mind you could email her name to me privately. I can put her name in our temple prayer list. This means she will get thousands of prayers. Because every name that is put in the list and other temples are all prayed for. But I would need a name to put it in the list. Heres hugs for you and your Mom, Cyntha Landon in Lititz, PA

Guest guest
Dear Sue, OMG, I just read this, sorry, cause I'm so far behind with my email. I had no idea your mother was ill. I knew you had gone to N Carolina, at the same time that I was in NC, but had no idea what for, thought it was for your graduate studies. Not only will I be praying for your mother, but count on me also to accompany you to NC, or anywhere, if desired, and/or to be here in NJ helping out with your children & household, if that is better. I'll always be there for you. Could you bring your mother here to the NJ/NY area either before or after surgery, as it would be easier for US to care for her. Of course, if your father is still alive (I never assume, as all 4 of my parents have passed on), perhaps he can care for her better. Anyway, I'm here for you. Love & Hugs, a
Guest guest
Dear a and all my wonderful lymie SUPPORTIVE friends- My mom had her breast surgery yesterday (she had a masectomy 7 yrs. ago, was 'cancer free' with no chemo or radiation, and last week she had a 'lump' checked.....cancer) Anyway- yesterday they removed a walnut-sized tumor from her chest (where the breast used to be) and we won't know until next Wed. what type of cancer it is. She had this done @ Duke Hospital in NC, which is a very fine hospital. We will have to wait and see... Thank you ALL for so much support at this time, it has been very difficult for me. It has delayed me opening my new business.... Natural healthcare. What kills me the most?? She has lyme disease and when she was tested a few years ago....decided not to pursue it. sue in nj sue massie
Guest guest
Hi, I'm sorry you are having these feelings right now.... I can totally understand where you are. I have been having some depressive issues as well. My doc wanted me to cut back on my Synthroid according to my TSH results. I could feel the change in my mood automatically. I have had some othere stresses as well, but I feel like they would have been easier to deal with if my meds werent jacked up. I decided to kick them back up where they were.... to heck with her numbers, I know how I feel. I have the most awful time trying to sleep in this week of lesser medication....and that only adds to my lousy disposition! I really do understand the frustration...and unfortunately there arent any words that are gonna help you feel better now...just know, that you are NOT alone and we are here if you need to let go of some of that. Are you currently on any meds? thyroid or other? and what is the current condition of your health if you don't mind my asking.... Chriss. Guest guest
Have you considered the tie into low thyroid and bladder problems. I suffered from embarassing incontinence and regular UTI's until the hypo was properly treated. Also, any and all vitamins only exacerbated the problem. The cranberry cure didn't work at all because the thyroid was the real issue. , inflamation of my bladder, intestines and urethra, > > > > > > im taking nulev, quercetin, oxybytinin, prevacid, herbal tea > > (special blend to thicken up urine to help inflamation), fiber which makes bloating gas and my bladder worse. > > > >
