Guest guest
Dear members and friends of Humanity Healing Network, this is a message from (aka Lotus Jewel), who recently joined the management team of HHN. Over the recent month I had the impression that there is a lot of "noise" swirling around through the Internet, which is all good and encouraging for us. But there is something I would like to remark in order to bring by a little wake-up movement. I see our HHN ambassadors struggling to get attention and produce results. This has to change. On the one hand there is a lot of traffic on the net, but real communication does not take place. Inqueries are not answered. People add social network friends without really looking on these pages. Then they post a standard comment that they use to post and that's it. It can be easily seen that they haven't even looked at their new friends and his/her message. No humanitarian network will ever gain credibility if such is the case. It could be one receives a vital emergency call from someone that says: Help me survive. And since one does not look at the message, one replies with some empty message shell. Great, talk to the hand... This is not how to run a humanitarian network. On the other hand, everyone of us also has to see that compassion without action is nothing. Nice words are just nice words, and vibes are vibes, But in order to become effective one has to close the circuit of love with tangible actions. When action becomes visible, words are not necessary any more, and the good vibes are built into into these actions. I want to remark that even Lord Jesus said: I will know my people "by their actions". He did not say "by their words". Furthermore, all of you probably know the video about the rainbow warrior prediction of the Hopi people. It is also said there that this new tribe called the Warriors of the Rainbow will put their faith in action, instead of words. So I suggest that we all live up to this soon - if possible now. Action can be quite easy, such as making a donation to Humanity Healing Network (yes it is easy) and let others do the actual task of implementing tangible action, such as in Bangladesh or in Uganda. Without material support, our peace dove is a bird without wind under its wings. It simply cannot fly, no matter how much we encourage it with nice words. Sorry, that's how the cookie crumbles. So I encourage you to make more donations to HHN. For my own part, I will head off and join a medical mission to the island of Mindoro in the Philippines on May 29. I will do this from my own resources, however small they are right now. I don't worry about that. There is a local group of medics that handles this activity. We will be about 100 participants, mostly experts in one or the other medical field of expertise. I am doing this in my position as an ambassador of HHN to conduct a survey to find out what HHN can do in order to help Mindoro's indigenous tribes that are in need of help. I am takling about approximately 100,000 individuals. And when I say help, I mean help to prevent human casualties and early child death. It is not just simple spiritual upliftment they need, but vital assistance. I created a page on MySpace that you can visit to learn more about these tribes. Its URL is www.myspace.com/mangyansofmindoro . If you have a MySpace page, please add them to your friends. Currently there is no way to make donations to this case, except through me, but I am working on it. So I hope you all get into the gears and act now. Support HHN or whatever you like to do to create some facts and a testimony to our compassion and active presence on planet earth. Nobody is going to believe us that we are serious about our cause if we don't do it. We receive by giving. May blessings come. Thank you and God bless a.k.a.
