Wishes Come True

Last night I saw the first firefly of the year

and wish thought of you.

Then today you reappeared,

still within your world

yet put substance into mine.

Perhaps wishes really come true.

Take the final step

and enter my arms

as you already do my soul,

my heart, my dreams, my words.

In so many ways

you are already here,

totally, except for love.

Love that only you and I could percieve.

Come, teach me bliss.

The Heaven of Nirvana.

Passion to span beyond

conceptual time or imagination.

Become my worship

in our religion of soft intimate nights,

and warm days of holding hands.

Each holding the other

within the reflection of our eyes.
