with bravery in a situation is an offshoot of living a life of courage,

or fortitude.  Many live their lives where " feeling good " is the

ultimate goal.  Such a life does not require fortitude.  A truly

meaningful life contains both the knowledge of and commitment to the

greatest good, which is to be able to love another as yourself.  When

we can integrate the Divine's love fully into ourselves, we can share

it with others and defend it with fortitude.
