, A similar community-sustainable living co-op housing and sharing group of people has sprung up in my neck of the woods, on Vancouver Island, Canada. Their project is well underway. The underpinning seems to be a wonderful "can-do" attitude. I met them through a singing circle I joined, there will be a music room and a crafts/art room and a communal dining room for however many potlucks people want to do.There are large community gardens right next door. A river (more like a wide creek) runs through the back acre. It is outskirts farmland,so town is there too.
