Motherhood is more than an act of biology; it is a state of being.  There exists in every mother a spark of the Divine Feminine.  This manifests itself in every action of motherhood, from tenderly touching a child's brow to check for fever to the fierce protection in adversity.  From our mothers, we first learn about compassion and understanding, forbearance and forgiveness.  Between mothers and children, there is a special bond of love, for our mothers are the clay we are molded from.
