continue reading the book, continue praying for others. be focused on your highest self. realize that in essence loneliness and reminders of your wife are thoughts that can be replaced with other thoughts to negate the ones that feed painful ones. there are many people to connect to who share themselves in the world at some level similar to yours. this group does that, and i'm certain there is someone around you who does the same.

hellomy name is ian mccall, my wife of 23 years has abandoned me in france where i am isolated, not least because of the language barrier and that i am in a small rural village...she has cut off all communiction except through her solicitors in england where she now resides...i have always tried to live a spiritually aware life and find the 4 months alone with my dog very trying...i am very fortunate because i have a large garden to grow my food--i am vegetarian-- and beauty and nature and animals surround me, but the loneliness and constant reminders of my wife are very painful...i am reading eckhart tolle which is helping somewhat...i always pray for others less fortunate than i...perhaps you may be able to strengthen my resolve...perhaps i should take full responsibility for this situation... i believe in prayer...i am very grateful if you might
