No matter what you think of the war and of the country you live in and the people in your country, this will make you proud. I hear people say all the time that there are no good people left in this world, well they are wrong. The good ones are just not publicized enough. Well today they are in this video.

Hugs, Cheryl

Read all the way through and then click on the link. You will have tears flowing, just like me!

God Bless our servicemen!!

Subject: Fwd: Fw: This is what the 4th of July is all about.

Thank you Sgt. 1st Class C. Beale, Thank you Jesus, our God and Lord, Thank you Peachtree City, Lovejoy, McDonough, Fayetteville, Fayette County, Henry County. Thank you father for men and women willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for our country, and thank you for Patriots who are willing to take their time to honor those who have made that sacfifice. God Bless America!

Subj: This is what the 4th of July is all about.

Peachtree City is a reminder of what our Country is all about. May Sgt. 1st Class C. Beale rest in eternal peace at the side of his Lord, and may our U.S.A. continue to thrive regardless of our current perils.

This is worth passing on. It shows there are some true red blooded Americans left. Killed in action the week before, the body of Sergeant First Class C. Beale was returned to Falcon Field in Peachtree City , Georgia , just south of Atlanta , on June 11, 2009 . The Henry County Police Department escorted the procession to the funeral home in McDonough , Georgia.

A simple notice in local papers indicated the road route to be taken and the approximate time. Nowadays one can be led to believe that America no longerrespects honor, and no longer honors sacrifice outside the military. Be it known that there are many places in this land where people still recognize the courage and impact of total self-sacrifice. Georgia remains one of those graceful places. The link below is a short travelogue of that day's remarkable and painful journey.

BTW, I checked a map. This parade of respect went on for 35 miles! Watch the shadows change. It's almost dark by the time they finish.
