One of the many fantastic projects Humanity Healing is getting behind is the

idea of " intentional community " .

The " Essence of Eden " , currently known as " The Eden Project " , is a forming

intentional community now being created in Alabama, possibly at Mentone [Lookout

Mountain].

Think in terms of a small eco-village, which is to be fully self-sustaining,

combined with a spiritual/healing kind of retreat, and offering educational

benefits to teach what is being done there.

Meet-Up - Mentone, Alabama - October 9th - 11th/12th

Causal Meet-Up just to get to know everyone with this interest, and engage in

some relaxing fun and conversation.

Where: http://heartwoodsanctuary.com/ has offered us their grounds for our

get-together. They have rustic camping available for us, but there are also many

area campgrounds, rv parks, motels and bed-n-breakfasts for those who need them.

The area has incredible sight-seeing. [see out Group for details].

Remember, this is the perfect time to go to Mentone, the perfect time of year to

see the full leaf changes of Fall. This is when the mountain is at full peak and

is incredible.

Rustic Camping is the order of the day so bring your gear. Outdoor kitchen and

showers...composting outhouses [not your grandma's kind], lots of great company,

maybe some music, fire circle, trails, labyrinth, and access to the Little

River. Josh will be offering free Yoga if there's an interest. The rustic

camping is $5.00/per person per night. Outside accommodations vary. [see out

Group for additional options]. There is no charge for this gathering other than

what you need to pay for travel, camping, eats, sight-seeing, etc...

There is already 10-20 others who live and visit there that are like minded and

welcome us as if they have known us forever. [Another 20+ have already

registered to attend.] You'll leave refreshed and alive, with maybe some new

ideas, and certainly new friends.

You owe yourself a break before winter...and you couldn't ask for a better

place...go once and you'll always go back....everyone has.
