This month's article is entitled The Balancing Act and addresses one of the critical aspects of our journey, finding balance between the material and spiritual worlds. Our purpose, to create heaven on earth, requires that we master this and we can begin in our own life. Balance comes with detachment, being at zero point on the polarity scale. If we are not in the energy of balance we are in its opposite energy, revenge. This is a very subtle energy that involves trying to prove our worth by focusing our energies on manipulating our outer reality to becoming what we wish it was. In this week's first article we look at how we try to balance the illusion, the reality we create, by either allowing the ego to endlessly create ways to 'fix' it or to go within and find the real source of the imbalance. We cannot create balance in our outer world without first being balanced within. Can we learn to be selfish and put our

needs first? At this time we have to because there often is not enough energy to give to others. Read more in the second article. Balancing the Illusion

In our life journey the soul seeks balance through reconnection. and the ego seeks balance through proof of love. When they work together, we are in balance, at zero polarity. When they pull in opposite directions, the soul helps create lessons to help us find our inner power, and the ego creates endless illusions of separation and the lack of love. We know that our material world is an illusion created from our thought and beliefs. We can use the ego's creative power and the soul's knowledge to create balance in our illusion so we have it all, love, peace and joy.

The ego is infinitely creative and it is constantly manifesting the illusion we live in. Wherever we see limitation and lack our soul reminds us that we are out of balance. We have two choices, to reach out to the illusion and try to "fix" it or to look to the source of the imbalance (us) and make necessary adjustments. Too often we become fixated on the illusion, our outer reality, and work harder to balance it. But this adds fuel to the fire, so to speak, and enhances the imbalance. The lesson for us is this -- if we are not balanced from within we cannot have a balanced outer world.

Adjusting our inner imbalance is actually less complicated but takes much more effort, according to the ego, which prefers to use its creative energy in an endless flow of manifesting new solutions to alter the imbalance. But all it does it create more imbalance. The soul waits patiently for the ego to stop its endless creation so they can work together in a more effective way, from the inner to the outer. With each step on our path we are faced with this fork in the road, are we going to create from the ego or work in partnership with the soul?

The ego goes into creative overdrive because when we feel the imbalance we think we are doing all the work and the Universe is not helping us. The Universe does not create, it responds. It cannot create balance for us when we are not in balance from within. This is where our ascension into spiritual humanity begins to take on new meaning and where we see that being still allows the soul to be heard over the constant chatter of the ego. Then we can balance the illusion from within, allowing ego and spirit to work together, so the illusion is in such perfect balance that there is no separation between the life we dream of and the life we have. Are Your Needs Being Served?

It is become clear to many of us that as we disconnect our energy and raise our vibrations the people around us become lost, agitated and even resentful. This is our time to be careful where we are putting our energy because we can be drawn into others' dramas without realizing that they want us to help them resolve their feelings, issues and fear. What appears to be an innocent step onto their path can turn into a lengthy commitment of time and energy. There are two things for us to consider before we do this - "why am I doing this" and "does it serve my needs" especially in situations that make us uncomfortable or where we feel that we are being pushed into doing something we do not want to do.

This is a time of discernment on a very personal level. We need our energy to manage the huge downloads, shifts and adjustments that are being made at all levels. It is no longer a matter of whether or not we have time to deal with others' issues, it becomes a choice between using our energy for ourselves or for others and there is often not enough available to do both. So when someone asks you to participate in their dramas or to do something you do not want to do, the question is, do you want to and if so, why?

For many of us we are not used to asking this question. When someone asks for our participation, we put aside our needs and step in. We are used to splitting our energy in many different directions. Now, however, we just do not have the energy to do that. And here is where another choice arises, the choice to be selfish. We may cringe when we hear that word and think that spiritual people are not selfish but it is a call for us to put our "self" first. Our ascension journey takes all of our energy and more importantly, how are others going to make an informed choice if they have no idea of their power because they are always using ours?

Discernment is a tricky thing because we want to be helpful and supportive while maintaining strong boundaries. This is not about keeping people out of our life, it is about keeping our energy where we need it, for our own growth. We all know someone who can do their own work but would rather have us do it for them. This is their chance to find their power so bless them, remember that they are powerful and when they ask for help, instead of saying "yes" take a moment to pause and ask yourself "why am I doing this" and "does this serve my needs". Your answers will tell you what is best for you and your own ascension journey.Spiritual attunements illuminate your

Uriel's Message -- You are the Voice of God

The lifting of the veil between the spiritual and material worlds is an exciting time for all of the Universe. Take note that this was not done by Spirit but by each of you as an indication of your willingness to embrace your divinity, to be in your spiritual integrity and to voice your Truth. This has been a shift on many levels for humanity and for each of you, a new awareness of the many blessings of your Source connection, which comes with new responsibilities. You are each the voice of God and your many voices are a powerful tool in the ascension process.

You are the physical vessel for many voices. Within you are the voices of the ego and of spirit, the voice of your energetic vibrations, of your past and karma and of your present moment, of your limitations and potential. Each of these voices serves a function on your journey and you can choose which one to express. Your most powerful voice is the voice of Creator, the voice of unconditional love.

Which voice do you use to express your desires and manifest your reality? Which one do you allow to dominate in your reality? Your voice is how others will know you and how you know yourself. Take a moment and listen to your inner voice. Does it speak of your power and faith or of your fear? Are you speaking about your limitations or your potential? Do you voice your fears before listening for guidance? Your voice is the expression of your energetic vibrations within each moment in your journey. Word and thought are equally powerful and manifest in the same way. Your voice can express pain or joy, the powerlessness of karma or the power of creation, it speaks of spiritual Truth or the ego's illusion. Which voice do you use?

When you use God's voice you are in integrity with your purpose of integrating your divinity, relinquishing the temptation of the ego to speak with its voice of fear and limitation. Be still and listen for God's voice within you then use it to express your healing energy to the world. Others will know you by your voice, choose the voice of God and be in your power. You can use your voice to move mountains or to be buried by them, to grow the spark of divine Light or to drown it in fear and sorrow. Your Creator has given you the choice of being Its voice and when you choose to speak from it, you accept your powerful role as creators of heaven on earth.Get the Cord

A Celebration of Community

I think I have watched the FlashMob dance on this week's Oprah show a dozen times. If you have not seen it, click here for the link. What is great about it? Several things, the connection between all of those people, the way they were all moving together, doing exactly the same thing and at the end, look where their hands are pointed. Earlier generations could have done this but they would each have been doing their own dance. These people were all dancing together and did you notice the sense of community, how everyone joined in and the fun they were having? If you needed confirmation

of Indigo's effectiveness in bringing people together while having fun, here it is. Each new generation of enlightened children introduces options to the doom and gloom prophesies of transformation. That option has rapidly lost power because no one wants it to happen and it has very little energetic support. These children are teachers who deliver their messages through their actions and from their inner guidance. They are focused on communication and connection, on creating communities of understanding and support. Their greatest challenge lies in overcoming our beliefs of separation, from each other and our Source to re-unite us as the family of humanity. Are we going to give them a chance? We will because when we see what they can do, like the FlashMob dance, and have that much fun doing it, they get our interest. They are amazingly creative and can envision solutions we do not consider because they approach everything

through connection. Indigos in particular create strong friendships and if your Indigo child has few friends, it is a sign that they are depressed and need your help to find their focus. When they are on the right path and have found their niche, they develop strong friendships, usually with other Indigos. These new generations compel us to believe in the inherent goodness in people, that we will seek connection over separation and learn to live through joy. If you have Crystal or Rainbow children, you know that their predominant energy is very joyful and loving. Future generations will have more of this energy as we learn to abandon fear and view life from new perspectives, abandoning the old rules and restrictions and finding our own creative center through having fun and being together. I hope there are more of these in the future as we need reminders that it is possible for us to put aside our differences and have fun
