In fact, that's how I determined I was relapsing in 2001 when 3 lesions were found after an MRI. There are now 5, but they don't seem to be spreading rapidly. Of course, the radiologist who reads the MRI might determine that any lesions were due to MS, but if you do have Lyme, this would be a good indicator of neuro complications. Hope that helps.
