Guest guest
I hear about candida a lot with abx but I have treated without abx and yet have had what doctors say is candida for years. I have done the protocol; diet and nystatin; no carbs and it's still really bad. I have also tried threelac; I have it so bad (I am assuming it is candida, but the bloating is so severe, maybe it's something else). Every time I eat anything (not just carbs) my stomach swells soooo much; I mean like a full term pregnant woman, not kidding; it is so large it hurts like its stretching the skin and is hard as a rock; my friends say they have never seen anything like it before; any advice? thanks
Guest guest
Are you being treated by an alternative medicine person as well as whomever is prescribing your abx? I've been on high doses of three abx at a time as well as probiotics/orthobiotics and Oil of Oregano and have been spared the intestinal complications that so often accompany being on abx. Before I was treated for Lyme (20 months and 13 conventional medicine Drs into it) I suffered from major lactose intolerant bloating like you describe, as well as constant heartburn. Since being treated with the aforementioned things and several other natural supplements, I no long have the lactose intolerant bloating and the heartburn seems to be under control as long as I don't consume any nasty heavy greasy meals and make sure to take the natural supplements. So I'd highly recommend that you check with an alternative medicine practitioner for help with your symptoms. Good luck.sending positive thoughts your way. yvonne _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Robin Sent: Tuesday, December 16, 2008 9:10 AM Subject: [ ] candida? Have you tried the protocol in this article (includes cream of tarter): http://lymecommunity.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/154 7/page/1#Post1547 Sorry the URL is so long. You will have to cut and paste the remaining section to get there. Steve

Guest guest
Have you tried Candidase or Candex enzymes? www.enzymestuff.com The enzymes taken on an empty stomach and at bedtime will break down the yeast in a way that diet can not because there is a scavanging effect. I know several people who take ABX + Virustop Enzyme, paired with 2-3 candidase and 1-2 candex a few times per day (but start very slow.) Die off could be aches and pains, and loose BMs from all of the broken down yeast. Yeast is often entrenched with bacteria and you could be back and forth for a few weeks, or months but eventually the bloat will go away. > > > > > > I hear about candida a lot with abx but I have treated without abx > > and > > > yet have had what doctors say is candida for years. > > > > Have you tried the protocol in this article (includes cream of > > tarter): > > > > http://lymecommunity.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/154 > > 7/page/1#Post1547 > > > > Sorry the URL is so long. Guest guest
Thanks , Are these people on this group? If they posted about it I'd love to read about it. Wondering if they took the enzymes for a while before starting abx and for how long.
