Guest guest
Because of the window of when you take it (10 pm - 2 am basically) and the general principle embraced by most that you should only take it once in 24 hrs - you should have skipped the dose. Guest guest
You should have just waited till the following night and taken your normal dose. Never take it the next morning if you forget it the night before, you don't want to take LDN twice in a 24 hour period, never take a double dose if you are on 3mg or higher so as to not go over 4.5mg. , LDN user 7 plus yrs. Guest guest
Happy New Years and Thank you for your responses. I will be sure to skip and wait until the following night if I ever forget to dose. I hope it never happens again.rocket Last night I forgot to take my LDN capsule. Guest guest
While we all strive to take every dose, it's not the end of the world if you miss one. Stressing about it isn't helpful to health. peace. -- >Happy New Years and Thank you for your responses. I will be sure to skip >and wait until the following night if I ever forget to dose. Guest guest
Interestingly enough, the very rare times that I have forgotten to take it, or not remembered to dissolve a new pill or something, I have used it as a test to see if I might have it " building up " . I read that some (very few) people might not clear it as well as others, and they do better with every other day, or some other regime. By skipping a night every once in a while, I have not found any positive or negative effects, and am comfortable that the typical 4.5 mg per night works perfectly for me. It is nice to know, however that there is no improvement with tweaking, so don't be afraid of a miss once in a rare while, especially if you use it to see if there is anything different. My opinion, Francie > Happy New Years and Thank you for your responses. Guest guest
On a related note, for the last 3-4 weeks my LDN routine got out of whack and I have missed a number of doses. If I wondered, I now know: although my pain levels have remained fairly stable and my energy has remained high, the IBS-like gut problems related to fibromyalgia have come back, and rapidly, following destabilization of my dosing regimen. So if I needed validation, I now have that. It appears that I now have more stamina overall than I did (because energy and pain levels remained improved), but the gut immediately got unhappy. fyi. -- LDN one year, Iodine Protocol 11 months fibromyalgia, Hashi's, adrenal exhaustion SO MUCH BETTER! 20 pounds easy weight loss due to metabolism functioning At 11:33 PM 1/1/2011, Baker wrote: >While we all strive to take every dose, it's not the end of the world if >you miss one. Guest guest
This is exactly what happens with my Mom, who suffers from Crohn's or something close to it. Remember I told you guys that she took a trip out of town and forgot to take it with her. Three days, and she had to wear a diaper to drive home. More recently, she got lazy about making a new batch and once again, three days destroyed the " cure " that the LDN had accomplished. On a good note, going back on it almost instantly " cures " it again. I have read in the past about the first girl MS sufferer, a friend of Dr. Bahari's daughter? who moved to Europe after several years and ran out. It took longer than three days, but she too, started going down hill and had them send it to her. Once established on the LDN, it does not " seem " to do anything. You just take it routinely. But going off of it eventually shows how very important it is to those of us with apparently whacky immune systems. When I went off of it three days ahead of surgery and stayed off of it three days after, my MS depression and mental fog started to set back in. These were the first to disappear when starting the LDN. I would hate to think that a longer lapse would bring back the weakness, fatigue and paralysis that I had when I started.
