A message to all members of Humanity Healing Network

Dear HH Family and Friends,

It is with deep regret that I must announce Humanity Healing Foundation will no longer be officially sponsoring the Mahavidya Girls School Project.

While we believe in the vision of a school for abandoned girls in South India, Humanity Healing Foundation is bound by, and operates under, the very strict legal guidelines for a 501c3 charity operating in the United States of America.  Because we sponsor projects internationally, we are under even tighter scrutiny.  Ethically, we are responsible to our donors to insure that each dollar donated is allocated exactly as we represent.  Legally, we are required to have complete transparency for our projects.  This includes documentation of legal nonprofit status, detailed project expenditure breakdowns, receipts for expenditures, etc.  A full description of required documentation can be found in our Guidelines for Project Sponsorship Proposals which can be either downloaded or emailed upon request.

We are truly sorry about this situation but legal compliance as well as integrity are part of Humanity Healing Foundation’s guiding principles. It is our hope that in the future, if circumstances change, we will be able to revisit this project and participate in helping to realize this school.

Much Metta,

Buck

President
