Guest guest
Why not use Skip's Pharmacy? They ship all over the US. Dr. Skip Lenz, the pharmacist, knows as much or more about this medication, it's uses and possible contraindications than anyone I know or have heard of. Is is really cheaper to get if from India? If it is, is it worth it if there are questions concerning the quality of the meds you are ingesting? Can you speak to India about your prescription? Skip's Pharmacy has always been available for questions, I get Dr. Lenz himself, often enough. Look it up on YOUTUBE - Lenz Low Dose Naltrexone. They have the videos of the conferences Dr. Lenz participates in periodically.Take care,ReginaOn Jan 7, 2011, at 12:10 PM, jaxi wrote:where did you read this? Was it a reputable source? Guest guest
Why? a. not everyone can get a script b. not everyone has insurance c. even with insurance and a script it is DRAMATICALLY less expensive to get from India (75 bucks for a one year supply [even less if you order more than a year's worth at once] versus probably at least 300 per year and probably more from a compunding pharmacy) d. I have NO ... zip zilch nada ... reason to question the quality of the medication received from India which has been working beautifully for me the last year. Which is why I asked if the comments came from an actual reputable source or was just someone expressing fear with no basis. Jaxi On Fri, Jan 7, 2011 at 11:40 AM, Regina A. First and foremost, not having a doctor who will give an Rx. 2nd, yes, it is cheaper. And quality is NOT an issue. It wasn't for me and my husband when we initially orderd it from there, and I haven't heard that it has been for anybody else on this list. That may just be fears being expressed, not based on reality. I say all this as somebody who for a long time has gotten LDN fromn Skip's (including for two of our cats). But there can be good reasons not to go that route. One other was that Skip's didn't have/use the filler I preferred and was reacting to the one used. n
