Guest guest
Just for information:I don't have insurance either, so cost is a big issue for me, I recently qualified for Medicaid, under the new health care rules. Not to anger anyone, but drs. and their tendency to over prescribe have done a lot to contribute to the poor health of this country. But I'd rather be insured than not.... I probably do spend about twice what you do getting my meds from Skips, but it has been worth it, I think, to be able to go to him with questions about things like dosages, alternative anesthetics for dental work, even getting some meds sent to me in FL when I got stranded there without meds during the blizzard of 2010. Since I don't have a dr. , I really need a knowledgeable pharmacist-Skip's more than fills this need for me. This lady's web site can probably help those with MS get a scrip - angelindisguiseldn@.... She is also an extremely helpful member of this LDN community.good luck,ReginaOn Jan 7, 2011, at 2:47 PM, jaxi wrote:Why? a. not everyone can get a scriptb. not everyone has insurancec. even with insurance and a script it is DRAMATICALLY less expensive to get from India (75 bucks for a one year supply [even less if you order more than a year's worth at once] versus probably at least 300 per year and probably more from a compunding pharmacy) d. I have NO ... zip zilch nada ... reason to question the quality of the medication received from India which has been working beautifully for me the last year. Which is why I asked if the comments came from an actual reputable source or was just someone expressing fear with no basis. Jaxi On Fri, Jan 7, 2011 at 11:40 AM, Regina A. Dr. Skip Lenz, the pharmacist, knows as much or more about this medication, it's uses and possible contraindications than anyone I know or have heard of. Is is really cheaper to get if from India? If it is, is it worth it if there are questions concerning the quality of the meds you are ingesting? Can you speak to India about your prescription? Skip's Pharmacy has always been available for questions, I get Dr. Lenz himself, often enough. Look it up on YOUTUBE - Lenz Low Dose Naltrexone. They have the videos of the conferences Dr. Lenz participates in periodically.Take care,ReginaOn Jan 7, 2011, at 12:10 PM, jaxi wrote:where did you read this? Was it a reputable source? I have been on a preventative dose of 4.5mg for several months. I have not had any reactions from my LDN from All Day Chemist, only some excessive dreaming.Does anyone have any knowledge of any problems with the LDN purchased from India? I would hate to be taking this LDN and not getting any benefit.Looking for a lot of input on this subject.------------------------------------
