Guest guest
Some diagnosed bipolar have stated their mood swings have calmed, LDN has a calming effect in many. One says she feels unusually calm, chilled out and dare I say at peace.
Guest guest
I do believe that my taking LDN has helped my mood considerably. I am being treated for depression and anxiety. Medication and therapy have been very helpful, but the LDN made the difference. I FEEL more, whereas the medication I take for depression seemed to dampen emotional response before I started LDN. I might be able to answer more direct questions, but as far as the rest of Par Fritzell’s email, this is all I can think to express right now. ~ Arey
Guest guest
, You sure seem to have got some great effects on your mood thanks to LDN and I hope you will continue to feel better! What you experience in regard to emotions and feelings is exactly what i was thinking about. The anti-depressant medication often make emotions more get in the background of things, wich can be good to some people, but really experiencing your emotions to the fullest is a sure way to keep that depression away and this is what i thought LDN might do. I would really be interested to hear if there have been some other changes in you such as dreaming more vividly (if you take LDN at night that is) or anything else in regard to changes in emotions and affect. If you come to think of anything else in this regard i would be very pleased if you could send me an email. I still would like to hear if more people are experiencing these changes and possibly if there are some people who are not taking their LDN at night and what their experience of LDN on emotions are. Guest guest
I can speak to my experience with mood and LDN. When I was diagnosed with MS, every time I went in, feeling down, the Doctor was right there with her prescription pad to put me on SSRI anti-depressants. I resisted for a long time, but finally gave up and let her put me on them. , When taking them, I was not so " down " , but there was also no " up " . I remember thinking that I could understand how people could commit suicide on them, because you don't really feel " anything " including how tragic it would be to those around you, if you were to do such a thing. I want some joy in my life and turning my world gray, simply did not help at all. It was also at the time of a major election and I kept thinking that with what was going on, I should be angry and really care, but it was an effort to care about anything. Then I realize that one of the reasons that our country is in such bad shape is that a good percentage of our voting adults are on anti-depressants and nobody cares passionately anymore. What a sad state of affairs. I quit taking them after about 3 months, and I still had swings of depression -- shoot, I had a debilitating chronic illness and deserved my well earned depression sometimes :-) , but it was not until I got on LDN that my life and attitude turned around completely. From the first day, the endorphins kicked in and my mood lightened. My brain fog was one of the first symptoms to go. At first, I might have had more vivid dreams, but that is just because you are closer to the waking state, so you remember the dreams, not that the dreams are different. After about 10 days on LDN, I have slept deeper and better than before LDN. That might be because one of my symptoms that an exacerbation was coming on, was insomnia, which exaggerated the MS spell. Now, with LDN, I have come through personal tragedies, diagnosis of cancer in September, major surgery for said cancer the beginning of November, travel to four foreign countries and thousands of miles, and finally the loss of our business, and having to deal with hundreds of angry customers, all with a smile on my face. I will not go without my LDN. I hope this is what you were looking for.
