Guest guest
Congradulations I always waited till i passed the 12 week mark. My mom had three miscarrages .. Two of them where in the first trimester. I am patiently waiting for my fourth to be born . i have 5 more weeks to go. The baby is already over 7 lbs. Anyone with advice to go into labor early at 37-38 weeks. Maureen
Guest guest
Maureen, Take a walk out in the snow and jump into a snow mountain! Just kidding - congrats if I didnt tell you yet. If you make it 5 more weeks, at least you'll have a spring baby!

I've only seen a plow come through twice since 4pm today. Kathy, Liam's mom(almost 5)

I tried just about every " method " in the book (except castor oil..... I wasn't brave enough for that, but I have heard it it works, it's great, if not, you're running to the toilet A LOT for nothing!). My third was born 1 day after her due date. At 38 weeks, I even tried walking around the San Diego zoo all day when my family was visiting (it's pretty strenuous, up and down hills, hot, August), and all that happened was that the damn koala had her baby instead, and caused the moving sidewalk to be closed down (cuz I was finally ready rest at the end of the day, and I couldn't, LOL!) And they weren't even sure when HER due date was :-) Anyway, good luck with the delivery, whenever he/she decides to arrive! , mom to (7), (5 DS), and (3) > >
Guest guest
Dear group, I am new to LDN and the group. 6 days ago I started taking 2.5 mg for scleroderma, which I have had for 10 years. My question is about my baby, who is breastfed -- for the past two nights he has been waking up crying because he is lying with his fingers bent backwards, and instead of moving his hand, he cries! When I carefully move his hand he cries more, (ie it seemingly hurts him to move it), but then he settles down and goes back to sleep. Prior to starting LDN I did read that it was safe during breastfeeding, however now I am wondering if it is causing this problem. Does anyone have any information on this? In the meantime, I will stop the LDN. Thank you for your help!
Guest guest
I'd stop the LDN for awhile to see if this stops in your baby, these might be muscle spasms and if caused by you taking LDN can be very painful for your baby. Also, if this stops after you've stopped LDN but starts back up when you start LDN again I'd be looking at an autoimmune issue or lyme issue in my baby. Guest guest
, Let me give you an example, a parent with an autistic child or a crohn's child rubs into the child's skin LDN cream with their bare hand, say the parent starts experiencing symptoms from applying the LDN, like muscle spasms, tiredness, etc, the parent should look for a possible underlying illness that LDN may be bringing to the forefront. There are many parents applying LDN cream with their bare hands and are experiencing no adverse side effects at all but there are other parents who have experienced side effects. If it is the LDN causing the symptom with the baby, then this would be alarming to me, LDN should not be causing any side effects with the baby. Some autoimmune diseases and lyme can be passed from mother to child and this mother has an autoimmune illness. This whole hand thing with the baby will hopefully not be connected to LDN at all. ========================== > > > > > > Dear group, > > > > > > I am new to LDN and the group. 6 days ago I started taking 2.5 mg for > > scleroderma, which I have had for 10 years. > > > > > > My question is about my baby, who is breastfed -- for the past two > > nights he has been waking up crying because he is lying with his fingers > > bent backwards, and instead of moving his hand, he cries! Guest guest
Dear group, Thank you all for your responses! I have had contact with a doctor who specializes in medication during breastfeeding due to issues in the past, but unfortunately he has not yet answered this question (maybe because of holidays...). In the meantime, the baby has woken up crying, with the hand in a funny position, but when I move the hand it doesn't seem clear that it is painful for him (ie he doesn't cry more), so I'm not sure if it is still happening. Does anyone know how long it takes ldn to clear out of the system completely? I took my last dose Saturday night. Thanks again! > > > > > > > > Dear group, > > > > > > > > I am new to LDN and the group. 6 days ago I started taking 2.5 mg for > > > scleroderma, which I have had for 10 years. > > > > > > > > My question is about my baby, who is breastfed -- for the past two > > > nights he has been waking up crying because he is lying with his fingers > > > bent backwards, and instead of moving his hand, he cries! Guest guest
If this continues to happen after you've been without LDN for 7 days I'd look for a different cause. You haven't pumped any breast milk from days you were on LDN and feeding with a bottle have you?
