Guest guest
I don't know the answer, but just wanted to caution you about ativan. It is quite addictive, and should only be used short term. Ask you doctor about alternatives. Withdrawal from Ativan can be pretty bad. Wikipedia has a pretty good article on Ativan (lorazepam). Guest guest
Always check with a professional, a pharmacist, for drug interactions with other prescriptions and supplements. I also take Ativan, 0.5 mg whenever I need it, which isn't very often. I called our pharmacist at Irmat and I was told there is no problem with my taking Ativan with LDN or my other medications/supplements. As for addiction with Ativan, my son is on a very low dose of Ativan 0.5 mg as needed, has been for two years, and takes it several nights during the week. During periods when he does not take the drug, which can be a week or so, he has no problems being off it. My mother takes 1 mg of Ativan as needed, which her need varies, and when she does not take it for a week or weeks at a time, she has no withdrawals. I have taken other highly "addictive" pain medications in the past and when I stopped taking them I had no issues. The important aspect to drugs that are "addictive" is to take them only as prescribed, and do not drink alcohol with them. If you don't take them as prescribed, your headed for trouble. Hope our experience helps you.
