If blood tests indicate you should lower or raise it within 6 months then you should do that. Should I stop the lugals and not even take 1 drop a day? +++Yes. Guest guest
*** Hi Christie: > I've been reading through a lot of Bee's articles on her website and I am so > confused about the supplements. ***This list should clarify some of your questions:http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/supp1.php >A lot of them have soybean oil in them also. I > thought that was a no no. *** Look at NOW brand and Natural Factors, or type soy-free before whichever supp you are searching on IHerb. The B complex has niacin but it's that niacide > and I can't find any that have just the niacin without it being the > niacinamide kind. *** For B-complex, as the article states, you are looking for a balanced-50 formula. And often, the source of their niacin is niacinimide, so you need to by a separate true niacin (B- 3) supplement. Or you can use nutritional yeast flakes and buy a separate true niacin. The section on B-complex explains this. Then for the E - I understood that I'm to get the > non-synthetic kind but I'm confused about the little " d " . Is the little " d' > one the kind I'm supposed to get? *** Read the section on Vitamin E: the small " d " is the natural kind you want. The " dl " kind is synthetic and you don't want that. You want to search for a " dry-base " E r clear-base formula. They won't have soy. Natural Factors is a good brand. I found the cod > liver oil she recommended - the Garden of Life Old World Icelandic kind bit > it has lemon and mint in it. Is that the right one??? *** Yes, the lemon or mint flavoring just masks the fishy taste. Hope this helps, Marissa

I don't understand why the label would state it contains no soy, yet the label also states it contains soy ? That's nuts. I think that only Natural Factors company can sort this out - can you contact them? > > The Kyolic organic garlic contains whey, is this ok? +++They have changed Kyolic garlic over the years, so now it appears their product contains whey - changing supplements by companies is so difficult to deal with. +++Can you list all of the ingredients, so we can see how much whey is in it - if it is down the list it means it contains very little. > > Also, when I order the Blue Ice CLO I want to order the plain and not the fermented, correct? +++Yes, that is correct. I do not recommend the fermented Blue Ic. > > Lastly, The niacin is the only supplement I'm not taking. I don't know if I can handle the flushing with the hot flashes, is it ok to skip the niacin? +++Niacin is very important for flushing toxins, radiation, etc. out through the fatty tissues and skin, and it also opens up the blood vessels, even the smallest capillaries, which is important for candida. The reason is candida toxins make all of the body's cell membranes rigid/stiff which means red blood cells are not as able to fold over and get into the small capillaries like they are supposed to. The more you open them up the better your circulation will be. For more information see this article: +++In order to minimize flushing start with small amounts, i.e. 1/4 of a tablet (50 mg divided by 4) by cutting up the tablets. > Thank you so much, the site and group have been a great resource. +++You are so welcome Kim! Guest guest
Hi Christie, A lot of people on this board use Natural Factors or NOW brand. They tend to be pretty good as far as not having any unwanted 'extras' in them. Bee doesn't have a list with the brands since there are people from all around the world on this board. It's better that people buy the kinds that don't have additives. Having said that, I order them from iHerb here in Sweden since they have good prices and I can get the right doses, etc. If you haven't placed an order yet, you can order them online through Bee's website at iHerb. Just go to the bottom of any page on her site to find the iHerb icon. If you go that route, she would appreciate that you use her code EWI284 (that's ewi)so that she gets credit and you get $5 off your first purchase. On the iHerb page, you can do a search under 'N' for say NOW brand, then search for say 'b-complex, 50'. It's quite easy to find all your supplements that way. Hope that helps! > > Good morning. I'm really confused over the supplements. I want to get all > mine ordered but I'm unsure if I'm ordering the right ones. When I look > over the ingredients it says they have soy in them. Guest guest
Hi again, Just rereading my post and realized the ambiguity of my statement. iHerb is a company in the States, not Sweden, so shipping would be 'local' if you live in North America. > > Hi Christie, > <snip> Having said that, I order them from iHerb here in Sweden since they have good prices and I can get the right doses, etc. > <snip> > >

For Vit C I use two products together: " NOW C-1000 " (do not get the time-release version of this formula--which, incidentally is where you might be seeing the soy) and " Bioflavonoid caps " For Vit A I use: " Shark Liver Oil 400mg " For Magnesium Citrate: I use " Magnesium Citrate " I use Natural Factors for other supps and Carlson for Niacin. Guest guest
Hi Christie, While we try to avoid soy as much as we can, it is not always possible. If the soy is listed as 'other ingredients' it's likely just used to help the processing equipment to function, and isn't so much of a worry. > > > > , > > Is a little soy in the supplements ok? I can only imagine how much better I will begin to get once I get the supplements started. +++Good for you! > > Also, my bloating has not begun to recede at all and I was wondering how long it takes before you begin to notice a change in the size of the bloating. +++Candida produces carbon dioxide when it is killed off, which is gas that causes the bloating. So bloating is a good sign. The timing for bloating to subside is different for each person, which depends upon so many factors, i.e. how well you stick to the diet, how long you've had candida and/or bloating problems, etc. +++Drink raw ginger tea to help with bloating. > > Thank you soooo much. They do not use soy to help the processing equipment function. They might coat tablets or capsules with magnesium stearate or something else to keep them from sticking to the machinery however. Yes, it is important to take " all " supplements because together with the diet that provides the correct balance of nutrients the body needs in order to heal itself and maintain health. +++Some supplements you can make, i.e. Eggshell calcium, or instead of cal/mag you can make bone broths that are highly mineralized and made according to my recipe for " Mineral Bone Broths. " You can take Nutritional Yeast " Flakes " instead of vitamin B complex, or you can eat 6 ounces of red meat liver twice a week or take raw liver pills, and take niacin (B3) in addition. > I mean if I can at some point I will purchase them, but for now will I be alright without them? I am going to purchase the quantum cod liver oil this week at take it regularly. +++I can't say you'll progress much. > > Bee, one more thing. I saw that with the teaspoons that you recommend of the quantum clo you also add 1000 mg of fish oil. All the food that I eat eat is high in omega 3. The beef tallow is said to be almost identical in omega 3's as fish oil and I eat tons of it. Am I alright without it? +++Hopefully your beef tallow is from grass-fed certified organic beef, otherwise the omega-3 to omega-6 ratio will be imbalanced, with much more omega-6. If not, you can eat 6-12 ounces of salmon (wild caught, etc.) twice a week and not take the extra Omega-3. Bee
Guest guest
Hi I'll let Bee comment on your B complex and answer your question about elemental amounts. I'm living in Sweden and order all of my vitamins from the US through iherb.com . They have pretty good prices and if the order is kept small, I don't have to pay import duty. Here is a site that sells the cod liver oil that Bee recommends: http://www.red23.co.uk/ Just do a search for cod liver oil. They also sell raw, unpasteurized butter, sauerkraut and Celtic sea salt. If you want to buy coconut oil in bulk, try this link: http://www.tropicaloilseurope.com/ They are in Ireland. Hope that helps! > > Hi, > > I am finding it tricky to get the right supplements. Guest guest
Our food is so denatured by processing, genetic modification, pesticides, farmer's fields that are never replenished, that it is highly unlikely that all our nutritional needs, particularly in quantities needed for healing, are met by food alone. All of the supplements are very important since they are: 1) minimal, and 2) all of the supplements and diet work together to provide your body " proper nutrients " it requires so it can heal itself. You can make your own Calcium Citrate from Eggshells, and take " Nutritional Yeast Flakes " instead of vitamin B complex. You also save by making your own foods from scratch. If you make good mineral-rich bone broths you can drink 2 mugs every day and not have to take calcium or magnesium supplements. You will be saving a lot of money by not buying any processed foods, snacks and drinks, and also have lower doctor bills and not spend money on perscriptions, over-the-counter medicines, expensive toothpaste (use baking soda, salt or hydrogen peroxide combinations instead), etc. These supplements are an investment in your future, so they should be a priority before other things we often spend money on, i.e. movies, eating out, new clothes, new furniture, etc. The best, Bee

It is really expensive for 2 people to take all of them when our income has dropped to about half. > > Right now we are taking the calcium, magnesium, cod liver oil, digestive enzymes and I take HCL because of my poor digestion. +++Hi Angie. Yes it is important to take all of the supplements recommended. Remember that taking them is an investment in your health and your life, and you will save money in other areas because of this diet. +++You do not need digestive enzymes, so only take HCl. That is because digestive enzymes are neutralized by HCl in the stomach since they only work on alkalized foods. If there isn't enough water and HCl in foods emptying out of the stomach into the first part of the small intestines the pancreas is not sufficiently triggered to produce baking soda to first neutralize HCl, and then produce digestive enzymes. > I use to take Dr. Ohihra's 12 plus probiotics (took for 2 years)but they got to expensive. They really helped me,but I thought I was healed of the candida because I really didn't understand the whole thing and of course I started eating like everyone else. +++Probiotics aren't very important on my program since your own body will create good bacteria when it is strong enough. > > The worst symtoms I had before I started the diet this time around was neck and shoulder pain, of course poor digestion, and a horrible coldness in my hands and lower legs and feet. I thought for sure I had diabetes because I was so cold. Thank God I have warmed up since I started on this diet, it's the only one the I have come across that really explains so much and helps me stay consistent. +++That's wonderful you've warmed up and are making gains. > You mention on one of your responses to someone that it takes 1 month for each year of sickness, that you can be sick before you were born. That help me so much and I've gone over in my mind all the memories from the time I was about 8yrs how much I loved the taste of wheat bread with butter. When I was expecting I would eat lots of cereal. When I was about 28 I started making my tortillas of 1/2 wheat and 1/2 unbleached flour, thinking I was really eating healthy. It wasn't until I hit the late forties that I started really getting sick and then age 52 I was getting yeast infections nearly every month, UTIs, bronchitis, and it progressed to sinus infections. I fasted that did help some, but I always came back until I stopped the dairy. Ahh finally I was on to something. +++I'm glad you are thinking and understanding more about foods you thought were healthy, which wern't. Remember that your body will also " retrace " every past illness, symptom, disease, injury, etc. during the healing process, which is according to Hering's Law of Cure (on my website). > Anyway this website has been a real blessing to me. I am getting some relief. Thank you for your dedication to helping others in turn I will help others too. +++You are so very welcome Angie. Onward & upward! Actually, compared to supplements recommended by nutrionist, naturopaths, and other alternative health practitioners I recommend very few. What kind of supplements makes your head symptoms worse? Most people also find they don't spend as much on this program, since they no longer spend so much on prepackaged and processed foods, snacks and drinks. You also save money on doctor bills and drugs, over-the-counter medicines. You can save money by making calcium using eggshells - recipe on my website. This is an investment in your future and your health, and all of the supplements are important. Look for ways you can cut back on costs in areas that are not as important as your health. What kind of medicines make you feel worse? Bee
Guest guest
Hi Amy, I think that when you added the supplements your body became strong enough to start to get rid of some toxins, so it created diarrhea. I don't think it was the result of one specific thing, but the combination of supplements since they help to strengthen the immune system. This is quite a common reaction and yes, it is die-off. But it is a good thing since it means your body is getting rid of stuff you don't want in there. > <snip> > Just curious--is the diarrhea die-off related or healing reaction?
