If Interstitial Pulmonary Fibrousis is the same as interstitial lung disease, then the prognosis on the Mayo Clinic web site is very poor indeed. However my brother has amazed the pulmonologist (about 1 year on LDN). He has been told to not bother coming back - the doctor sees no more evidence of disease. Best to youSteve
