The New Year of 2010

Happy New Year of 2010, everyone! Less than three years to the countdown of winter solstice, 2012, yes?

2010 begins under the following energies:

the light of a Capricorn/Cancer full (blue) moon (revelation, Initiation, the Light Supernal);

the shadow of a lunar eclipse (much in matter simply dissolves away);

Mars (the Nine tests of Scorpio) retrograde (activities are internal and hidden);

Mercury retrograde (thoughts, communication turn inward);

a void-of-course (no connections) on the very first day (Jan. 1).

It’s a most unusual beginning to a new year. 2010 will be a year of internal reflection, great tests (Mars), surprising revelations, (Uranus) and unfulfilled aspects of our lives surfacing in forms we may not recognize. Our energy will feel withheld, suspended, pending and internalized. 2010 offers constant change (Saturn) and transformation (Pluto) symbolized by four major planets in cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn).

Cardinal signs initiate new realities cannot stand back to mull things over (mutable signs), or stay with “business as usual†(fixed signs). Cardinal signs remove hindrances and obstacles that inhibit forward growth, change and progress.

Cardinal Signs in Dialogue Here is the 2010 dialogue we can expect from the cardinal signs:

Aries says, “I’ll initiate the new realities.â€

Libra says, “I’ll invite everyone to participate.â€

Cancer says, “I’ll open my Gate and allow Spirit to enter matter and thus the masses of humanity are Initiated and the culture then changes.â€

Capricorn says, “I’ll reshape, restructure and redesign leaders, governments and the entire civilization.â€

We, too, individually and collectively, will be summoned to reshape our world. We will need to be practical in all areas, explore and search in all directions for solutions to world problems that create greater resilience and equanimity for all peoples of the world.

We Are the Ones to Create the New World Order (ancient esoteric words) “Time’s running out,†Saturn and Capricorn tell us. But, with vision, we’ll accomplish much. We’ll learn resiliency; focus of localization; begin farms and gardens; plant edible trees and medicinals; form communities; learn biodynamics, permaculture, Open Space Technology & World Café facilitation; join Transition Town USA, reinvent, localize and reinvest our money in “real goodsâ€; invest in our families, create new ones, recognize and build family wealth (learning how to listen and invest in the dreams of family members. We’ll catch rainwater, greywater our environments, learn to fish, forage, harvest, can, ferment, build greenhouses, ponds; build the soil, and in all we do we’ll plan on others joining us. Because in the midst of retrogrades, which make us re-evaluate and reassess (in order to re-possess) our world, we’ll eventually realize we are the ones to create the new world order.

Instead of the previous directive “Be here now,†we can now say together, “We who are here now will build together the new culture and civilizationâ€. So, it will be a “new†and different and change-filled year to come with each of us being called to participate.

United States Chart During 2010, the planets in the sky (transits) circling the Sun will directly contact the planets in the US chart and thus will have a profound effect on the United States; it’s land, people, events, and choices we make. Updates on these transits to the US chart will be touched upon in the weekly columns.

Capricorn Full Sun/Moon Festival – Last Full Moon of 2009 The full moon occurs Thursday at 11:13 am (Pacific time) at 10.15 degrees Capricorn/Cancer. Capricorn receives Rays 1, 3, & 7 – the Will and Intelligence of God anchoring on Earth in prepared channels (inlets, NGWS) that can then distribute these energies to humanity. The New Group of World Servers, in meditation around the world during the twelve hours preceding the full moon, have the intention to receive these energies (Capricorn energies flowing through the Sun, Saturn, Venus) in order to radiate them to humanity and the kingdoms on Earth. And thus, each new and full moon time, humanity and the kingdoms are uplifted..

Lost Am I in Light SupernalThe meditative seed thought for Capricorn on the Soul level is: “Lost am I in Light Supernal, yet on that Light I turn my back.†The disciples climb the mountain of Capricorn as disciples. Upon reaching the mountain top and standing in the light of the Capricorn Sun (Light of God, Light Supernal), the disciples feel they have reached a final resting place. However, as they bask in the Light Supernal, they hear the cry of humanity. As the disciple chooses to return to Earth to assist suffering humanity they then become the Initiate. All during Capricorn we are upon the mountaintop absorbing the Light from the Sun into our ajna centers (the horn of the unicorn). As the sign Aquarius begins the Initiates walk back down the mountain, re-enter the Gate of Cancer (Spirit into matter) and enter Aquarius in order to serve. Aquarius is the sign of humanity.

ARIES (March 21-April 20): Try and try again with all endeavors. However, don’t expect anything to come to fruition until possibly mid-May. You can have many trial runs, planning and perfecting activities that highlight creativity, which will be inner focused and not outwardly seen. Maintain optimism and a rhythm attuned to the Sun.

 

 

 

 

 

 

TAURUS (April 21-May 21): Everything will be about the correct foundations being stabilized, about patience being recognized as an asset and redoing everything if at first the work is not prepared with the needed perfection, harmony and balance. Perhaps you’re building a greenhouse. Give yourself and others working with you more than ample time for gratitude.

 

 

 

 

GEMINI (May 22-June 20): Life, people, communication, the mail, correspondence, messages – all will seem disorganized and this leads to difficulty until you remember the retrogrades (Mars, Mercury, Saturn soon). What you must do is small tasks, undemanding and repetitive things including repeating information over and over. You will find your way through these interesting obstructions. You’re clever, a wizard, a trickster.

 

 

 

 

 

 

CANCER (June 21-July 20): Attempt to do many different projects during this time and not just one. Attempt also to not waste time, which is something that you could sense, is occurring. Follow up on every endeavor with care and effort. Monetarily make no changes and do not output more money than is the usual.

 

 

 

 

LEO (July 21-Aug. 22): Remember that the energies are internal now and so adjustments will have to be made in terms of how you interpret other people’s responses and how you literally greet everyone. Careful with fire and sharp tools and injuries to your head and face. Don’t push any river, person, event, plan or yourself. Be the tortoise. Trim your hair.

 

 

 

 

 

 

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Many Virgos will go into contemplation, delve into their subconscious, read up on Jung and archetypes and ph books till mid-year and emerge with an entirely new and different aspect on religion, spirituality and their place in the world. The invisible world is surrounding you.

 

 

 

 

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): As everyone realizes the world has slowed down, some feel glum, displeasure and impatience. It’s time to generate parties and pastimes that dislodge the prevailing blues. Only you can be the leader for this. Make the gatherings abundant, plentiful and often till the retrogrades pass.

 

 

 

 

 

 

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Study those you admire, those you would mentor, and those whose success reflects your aspirations for success. Always think of serving others. This takes the focus away from competition, survival, losing or winning. This is a time (year) of repositioning your creative ideals.

 

 

 

 

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 20): It is possible you may discover the Path, devoting yourself to it. Once this Path is revealed you’ll march forward with courage, wisdom and determination. Mars retro is the inner arrow in the bow of the Archer. Later the arrow will be directed toward the Capricorn mountaintop, the place of Initiation. You’re again being tested.

 

 

 

 

 

 

CAPRICORN (Dec. 21-Jan. 20): An inner reconstruction and a phoenix-like rising up may occur within all Caps. It is an excellent time to renew, reawaken, revive, relight and rekindle your most intimate relationship. This will set a new foundation for years to come. And it will be what sustains you in the changing times. Be very careful with money.

 

 

 

 

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21-Feb. 18): Be generous with everyone especially with loved ones. Ask nothing in return. Working together in close association can create a strong bond that will assist in rising above possible frustrations. Realize that success is linked to all parties attempting compromise and Right Relations. As the leader, you go first.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

PISCES (Feb. 18-March 20): Create and maintain a very regular schedule, Tend to your work early, don’t try to change anything. Everything’s transforming and realigning on inner levels all over the world. Think of everything as an experiment, which it is. It’s stated in Ancient Wisdom texts that when one is in an Initiation they are often alone. Stay poised in this aloneness. Pray.
