Guest guest
Hi nI grew up in Perth, but live in the UK now. If you contact: OZPharmacy.com Pty Ltd PO Box 2108 Logan City DC QLD 4114 Australia....they are bound to know doctors in Australia who prescribe it. Either ring the operator and get their number, (if they have one..) or email them.Failing that, it may be possible to have a phone consultation with one of the US or UK doctors who prescribe it, and get the transdermal cream compounded at a pharmacy internationally and posted over. A hassle and more expensive, I know, but worth it, at least in the short term, while you source it in Australia. There is a doctor in the UK, who will do a 15 min phone conversation for £35, and then, if appropriate prescribe LDN, and send the prescription to Dickson's Pharmacy. I know they make the transdermal cream, as I have spoken to them about it. The doctor requires written confirmation of the patient's medical condition in order to take the consultation. I just sent a photocopy of a general letter I had lying about to a specialist from my GP, stating the diagnosis.Hope this helps. If you need the UK doctor's contact details, let me know. At lease the £ is weak right now, so cheaper for you if you decide to go the international route. From: Burd27 <burd27@...>low dose naltrexone Sent: Mon, 17 January, 2011 0:15:55Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Doctor/Script and source for LDN in Perth, Australia. Hi all, Can anyone help out with a place in Perth Australia where a script for LDN can be obtained. IE: A LDN friendly doctor, etc. Also, does anyone know of a source of LDN in Perth - either capsules or transdermal cream, but preferably the cream. We have a bit of an urgent situation there that we need to find a solution quick. Thanks, -n

Guest guest
Hi nFollowing on from my last post, I just found this great website, with a list of compounding pharmacies (none in Perth, though). Give any one of these a ring, and they will have a list of doctors who will prescribe LDN by phone consultation.http://www.ldnaware.org/ldn-info/108-pharmacies-and-chemists-australia.aspFrom: Burd27 <burd27@...>low dose naltrexone Sent: Mon, 17 January, 2011 0:15:55Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Doctor/Script and source for LDN in Perth, Australia. Guest guest
Hi Brendon In case you can’t quickly find a compounding chemist in Perth here are the details of the one I use in Sydney I get my transdermal LDN from West Lindfield Pharmacy, West Lindfield , 2070, Sydney, NSW . 48 hour turn around once they receive the script. They send it express post. They make it for me with emu oil as a base (as dr McCandles specifies) though they said they had not made it with emu oil before. It works fine though I have to watch the temperature as it gets very liquid when hot (which works fine you just have to be more careful when applying it) but gets too thick if I put in the fridge. When I wanted a script I went to my local medical centre. At first the doctor was a bit nonplussed and looked up the 50mg Naltrexone and started reading the side effects. But when I told her I only wanted 3.00mg she was quite happy to give a script. She did not know how to write up a script for transdermal so I called the pharmacist (0294162642) while I was with her and he told her what to write. Transdermal is great as you can easily increase or decrease the quantity as you wish. Good luckTrish Hi all,Can anyone help out with a place in Perth Australia where a script forLDN can be obtained. Guest guest
Unfortunately n (here in where I live) already takes LDN for his ALS and knows where I get mine from. I don't think they do transdermal there which I suspect is why he's asking. The place I get mine from probably do the most LDN of any pharmacy in Australia and can have it in Perth next day. Cheers, PS n if you see this - hope the floods up there didn't affect you. They were pretty bad, though nowhere near like parts of Queensland suffered.
