Guest guest
Hi, I have been off the LDN for over half a year. I stopped after dental surgery, and after having the sleep disturbances was not to keen on restarting. The sleep issue I had was waking up around 4 or 5 am full of energy sometimes and then having to go back to sleep. I will admit I most likely had other issues, staying up late, tea and coffee late, heavy metal detox med I was taking etc etc. My question is this. I have heard you guys sometines talk of daytime dosing. So here it is. I understand the principles of LDN so if I take it in the daytime, should one feel crappy for awhile as the endorphins shut down. And then when the rebound takes place feel better. Is may understanding correct. I am just talking about the theory. So let me caomare theory to reality. I just took a dose at 2 PM 3mg Today Wednesday. Around 3PM felt sore and achy a little depressed 4PM I feel kind of euphoric and no pain now. And in a good mood. What is good or wrong with this picture...Anything
Guest guest
Here is a comment on the day/night LDN dosing by a very credible LDN Pharmacist, Skip Lenz...please read the entire comment as the two cycles he mentions pack different punch levels. I really hate to get involved with this question, and the he said,he said responses. Who is right, Zagon or Bihari, well they both are right. One has to look at the diurnal nature of endorphin secretion to understand HOW they are both right. You get your zenith peak during your normal sleep cycle. You get your penultimate peak during your wake cycle. Taking LDN prior to your zenith peak will give you more bang for your buck than prior to your wake cycle peak. Therefore you will get some increase taking LDN at times other than prior to bedtime but they will not be the most you can get. Now if you take it indiscriminately temporally, then depending of which peak is next in the cycle, you will get a fraction of the response you would get if taken at an appropriate time frame. This explains why both docs are right, for those taking it in the am, you get the PM peak to skew upwards, those taking the PM dose gets the am peak to skew upwards.
