Guest guest
Never heard of skelaxtin but 5 mg of pred is fine. That is low enough to not interfere with the LDN.JaxiOn Tue, Jan 25, 2011 at 8:12 PM, Debruycker <debruyckerm@...> wrote: I went to the Rheumatologist today and told her that I felt much better being on LDN but my only problem was the bad pain in my lower back, SI joint and down my left leg. My question is can you take prednisone with LDN? It is only a 5mg prescription since I have SVT's (fast heartbeat) and I told her I had to be careful. She wants me to take Skelaxtin at night also. I have read some posts where people have taken the steroid with LDN. I had some blood tests done and hope that my there is an improvement in my markers. What do I do? The pain is awful and needs to get under control.

Guest guest
, I have taken prednisone on it’s own due to an IBD flare and it didn’t do anything for me (however it did wonders for the pain in my hip and knee). My Drs wanted me back on the prednisone to ‘complete the job’ and this time I combined it with LDN (started at 40mg for one week, tapering by 5mg every 3 days) and this had a more positive effect for me than just prednisone alone. Remember, the beauty about LDN is that it is a biotherapy (the only thing you cannot combine LDN with is opiates). Dr Zagon, Gilhooly and Lawrence all agree with this. Wishing you well. Guest guest
For sciatica a good chiropractor can really help with adjustments to your spinal alignment. Some also do accupuncture. This combination cleared my pain in a few visits and a friend who had the same problem got the same relief. Doreen Sent from my iPad
Guest guest
I have been seeing a chiroprator but no relief yet. My back keeps getting worst. I seem to have degenerative disc issues. My rheumy wants me to try and take 10 mg a day. Is that still all right with LDN? Guest guest
, Have you considered diet - particularly Paleo - to help with arthritis? As well as adding boswellia/curcumin? Neither are " quick fixes " but should make a significant difference along with LDN. http://www.thepaleodiet.com/arthritis-joint-pain.html http://www.thepaleodiet.com/articles/Arthritis%20PDF.pdf Alan === Posted through Grouply Create your own group! www.grouply.com
