Guest guest
I've been taking LDN for almost a year,as a preventive, and I do NOT tell my MD. He is traditional, not open-minded even about nutrition. I have done some research, and if I want a local physician, and I do, none of those available to me are any more liberal. DN's long safety record gives me assurance that I am not risking my health, and believe I am reaping benefits from my self-medication. I don't feel guilty about keeping my Dr.in the dark. Traditional MD's prescribed, and later discontinued for me, hormones, Celebrex, and Fosamax, and for my late husband, Avandia.I don't think that's such a good track record. I think most traditional Dr's get their medical info from the pharmaceutial industry and that does not reassure me. Rose in NJ
Guest guest
Hi, I have told my doctors. I had asked all of them to write the Rx and they ALL said no. I was so disappointed. Because I am tired of being sick all the time, I decided - after 4 months of review/reading/research, and am so happy I did. I feel better than I have in years too. I have to say they are all very pleased with the results, but none of them will write the Rx for me, even now. When there is PROOF right in front of you that it helps, why wouldn't you want to help someone stay on the same regime. Many are afraid of big pharma, which is so silly, because they would rather give drugs that have horrendous side effects, but won't give LDN. It doesn't make sense really, but it is the way it is. I am still looking for a local doctor to get an Rx from. I order it from India and am happy to do that so I can feel better. Strange world we live in! Do what works for you. And if you have to say you aren't on it to get continuing tx, remember they lie to us all the time about the drugs they Rx for us. Take care of yourself. You deserve it! Glowing, grace~As Ghandi taught, the secret to life is to struggle against oppression and to fight for what is needed, but not to be attached to any particular outcome.
