Guest guest
Now your my kind of gal......you are really working hard in getting muscles toned up....I'm headed down that same path way...so now I have to mirror your mission. I'd say that is progression.. Alvera White Guymon, OK. [ ] I Thank YOU Cam for this post. I have been having a very rough time with pain as of the last couple of weeks. That shoulder of mine and the rib hump and the neck and the lumbar spine (okay.. so I hurt everywhere)....lol... has got me. I am on a mission to get ready for the big ole revision coming this summer. I know, (thanks to a lot of you girls) in this group, that I can do this, that I must do this and I am eagerly awaiting coming out the other side of recovery for that great life I had and will have again! I really like this post and it is all very true. Just an update friends, I am working hard (2 sets of 5 lunges, and 5 sets of 10 squats, and 20 minutes on the treadmill) to get some muscle back. I know this doesn't sound like progress but just a month ago I couldnt even get 2 minutes on the treadmill. I just have to be careful to watch my breathing and not overdue it. I have to keep my P.T. on my shoulder so I know when to stop or I will pay with spasm. LOL! But, I am making progress and I hope that by the time surgery roles around I will be fit physically and emotionally for the big day and months to follow. Thank You to everyone for helping me through my decision, thank you for sharing your stories and your experiences. I am thrilled that I have found this group. Now, how is that for a 360 degree dose of positive. May all life's blessings come to each of you! Happy Spring time... next goal, find me some folks to help to support me post surgery at home! one step at a time and I will get there!
