Guest guest
I would strongly suspect candida and treat for it.JaxiOn Fri, Feb 11, 2011 at 7:37 PM, jenn81200 <skaggs.jennifer@...> wrote: I started LDN a week ago for Fibro and Crohn's(4.5 nightly). I have been having aweful headaches the past 4 days and periods when I feel foggy(cannot think clearly). I really want this drug to work as nothing else has worked for my Fibro and I am faced with the possibility of immunosuppressants for Crohn's. I just switched to a gluten free diet, as I read about Candida and thought that may be the culprit. Should I wait it out? Has anyone else had this problem? Will these symptoms get better? I am finding myself very frustrated because so many have said that sleep disturbances was their only side-effect. Any suggestions are appreciated? ------------------------------------
Guest guest
Thank you all for your responses. I will call my Dr on Monday and see if he will switch the script. In the mean time, should I take a break from it? Or can I break open the capsule and remove half the contents(I now it would not be an exact measure with the filler but might be better than stopping for 3 to 4 days)? Any thoughts? I also started a Candida cleanse 2 days ago. It is a 14 day cleanse. Does anyone have an idea of how long it takes to notice results with the cleanse if that is the problem. I am using Candidase and coconut oil along with cutting out sugar and gluten. Tammy -I had my thyroid checked about 4 months ago and it was fine. I did see there is a self test with iodine, I will get some tomorrow and see if that could be part of the problem. Amy -I started out with SCD and decided to go gluten free instead. I made a banana nut loaf with almond flour. I love almonds but that was way to much nut flavor for me. I am not sure if I could deal with almond flour every time I want bread. Maybe someday. Good luck if/when you decide to try it. Sent from my iPhone
