Dear Leane,

Please suggest on what can I do about this. I really need a help. Eversince I gave birth my skin now can not tolerate any amount of cold that is why I never wear short sleeved shirt. When I expose my skin I feel like there is an ice on it. And there is more problem int he night when I cover myself with blanket sweat so badly.. jane layagan

Dear Jane,

Have you mentioned this to your doctor? I could be way off base here, but

sometimes after pregnancy, the thyroid is off, and symptoms of feeling cold

could be caused by hypothyroidism. I would maybe ask your doctor about this

possibility. I'm not sure, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to speak to your

physician.

Blessings,

Hello dear, I will talk with a homeopath doctor that is my friend, and

tell her about your case. I agree with , after I gave birth, my

skin changed and even my hair changed, it has more curls nowadays. I

believe it is the change of the hormone levels.I will have a talk with

her. Have you tried the natural herbs to balance Feminine hormones?

Like Dong Quai, Black Cohash, or Evening Primrose?

I use them myself.

I will get back to you on this.

Bless your heart,

Love and respect to all,

Liane

dear andrea,

Thanks a lot really! I will go and ask the doctors's opinion. However, is it ethical to directly tell teh medical personnel to have a test on hypothyroidism? I mean it should not insult them, right?

Dear Jane,

It's your body, and you have every right to express your concerns to your

doctor. Do not worry at all about insulting him/her. A doctor-patient

relationship is a partnership....and if your doctor doesn't feel that way, find

a new physician! You're not 'demanding' a test; you're expressing your

concerns, and asking for his/her professional judgment. You have every right to

do so!

Blessings to you,

Maher M,

Keep your head up. You will beat Hep C. You just keep pushing, taking each day

one step at a time. There are new HCV medicines that were recently approved for

use in adults (Bocepravir and Telapravir).  Also, there are Polymerase

Inhibitor designed to stop viral replcation. I'm curious, was a polymerase

inhibitor used as part of the combination treatment with peg interferone and the

ribaviren? Check out www.clinicaltrials.gov to see what might be availble in

your area. Yes, there is always hope you just have be willing to walk through

the tunnel to get to the other side. If you want to talk e-mail me.

a new study just released shows that nature seems to be able to do what Big

Pharma can't -- kill the virus without damaging cells in the body. Scientists at

the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) have discovered that two

plant-derived bioflavonoids, catechin and naringenin, display powerful antiviral

activity on tissue culture infected with hepatitis C.
