, I have heard, cranberry juice for UTI, but not acquainted w/ IC, other than to know, it is a painful experience. I would suggest using B3, niacin, researchers are now saying it is very affective against yeast. If you are not yeasty now, cipro will get you there, I believe. Maybe probiotics as well, to reestablish your digestive system after cipro.

I am totally dumbfounded as to why more folks do not get a CBC blood test to determine exactly what LDN is doing for them. I have leukemia, have blood tested every thirty to ninety days. It is obvious LDN raises all my blood levels across the board @ forty to fifty percent. In my case I tend to be low on neutrophils, which fight off bacterial infections like cellulitus. LDN increases the neuts ten fold. I have been taking LDN about a year, and have had no illness, except for yeast infections, which I think LDN usage may encourage. One gram B3 daily, niacin seems to have resolved that. I have no clue how much niacin it takes to kill yeast, but you cannot just take a 1000mgs, one gram, as you will feel like a crispy critter in about ten minutes with the huge flush.

So perhaps a hundred may do the job. I take that amount as it raises HDL, lowers LDL, cholesterol, great for the heart and circulitory system. It also elevates my mood.

By watching my blood numbers LDN encourages the immune system to be healthy, increase in overal numbers, but seems to be a modulator, balancing it. As a result, if a person has a corrupted immune system, ie ten times too many lymphocytes which are attacking their own body, LDN helps by balancing their immune system and in this example, the immune system stops attacking their body.

I wished to take this opportunity to point out, my personal untrained idea, LDN should be given for almost all illnesses-infections etc, in my opinion. animal or human. Greatest stuff since they put a pocket on a shirt. Well, unless you enjoy medical attention.

[low dose naltrexone] What are the alternatives to Cipro?

Does anyone know what else I can take while on Cipro and Ldn for a possible infection? Have not gotten the culture back yet. But could possibly have IC.

I thought the ldn would help with bladder issues too if they were autoimmune related.

Thanks.
