Guest guest
     Since it is a day to give thanks, I would like to share something from the AgelessWisdomTeachings that perhaps many aren't aware of.    Our Western culture doesn't recognize the inhabitants of the subtler realms.   Along with gratitude for the usual blessings we enjoy  there are myriads of lives tthat work tirelessly to serve humanity without complaint - usually.   Can't recall which Teacher shared  this information, but we should give thanks to the elementals who make up our environment. The fire, air, water and earth elementals.  Who of us remembers to thank the fire elementals who leave their realm when summoned by us to cook our food, heat and light  our homes, power oor machines and more?  When we are finished using theirgifts we turn offf the stove, rudely dismissing them  without any acknowledgement for their service.  The author of the tale mentioned that there are times when the fire elementals become so furious at humans that they will cause a home to burn to the ground for no apparent reason.   In Japan, there are many small shrines to various " gods " where the people will stop and commune with them. They value the good done by these " gods " and offer thanks.  Maybe we've become so self-involved, that we no longer show gratitude for Life's blessings.  i Just wanted to share this wisdom..... Love and respect to all,Liane
