Guest guest
Hi there, Have a question for my partner. She has had quite a few health issues in the past. It started with significant difficulty losing weight no matter what she did. She then found out she has PCOS, which she manages with a low carb diet. She has also had significant issues with fatigue, to the point where she required naps every day and was tired all the time. She eventually also was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and was placed on dessicated thyroid (we have a good holistic doctor). The fatigue was still there however, so she looked at food allergies. She's found out she's allergic to dairy, MSG, and basically every food chemical. When she eats these, she gets a puffy face, itchy throat and gains about a kg in fluid overnight. She's able to avoid these things most of the time, but it's difficult to ever eat out. She also has psoriasis which isn't too bad, but won't seem too go away. These things all seem to be autoimmune related, and while she's realised that she can control things fairly well with a very restricted diet, I'm wondering whether LDN might be helpful in controlling the PCOS and food allergies? Had anyone had any experiences with LDN improving food allergies? And with helping control weight? And psoriasis? Thanks for your help!
