hi judy, I don't know anything for sure but, my neurologist took me off cellcept in order to put me on LDn. So, at least in his opinion they do not mix. I'll be interested to hear if someone knows they can be mixed though. good luckrocketFrom: judy.rittenhouse

<judy.rittenhouse@...>Subject: [low dose naltrexone] LDN and Mycophenolate (Cellcept)low dose naltrexone Date: Monday, February 14, 2011, 12:40 PM

Over a year ago, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, pemphigus foliaceus) and was originally on LDN (4.5 mg) - it didn't help the pemphigus, but it helped other issues that I had, pain in knees, nasal congesties due to allergies, and overall general achiness. I felt really good while on LDN - I could run, I didn't ache everyday and I could breath really well! 6 months ago, I went on 2000 mg daily of Cellcept (prescribed by my dermatologist to shut down my immune system to stop attacking my skin). (Cellcept is what is normally given to patients that have had organ transplants so there body's antibodies will not attack the organ.) Now that I am on the Cellcept, I don't have issues with the pemphigus, but I have the achiness and pain in my knees again as well as stuffy nose from allergies. Question - can I take LDN while taking Cellcept or do they "cancel" out each other's benefits or even worse, can it cause a life-threatening

problem?

Thanks,

Judy
