Guest guest
I have 4.5 mg capsules from Irmat pharmacy, how long do they last ? I've read the old posts, does it really expire after 1 year ? Cheers,
Guest guest
All compounded medications must carry a maximum expiration date of 6 months according to the FDA.
Guest guest
i'm not sure it's correct that te compounded meds last max 6 months,or better that's not true for ldn.this my opinion is because i received a mail fron skips'pharma(rafael)exactly 6 months ago that sounds like that: dear Emiliano i would like to inform you that our ldn caps duration is now 350 days(more or less 1 year). i do not belive that a professional pharmacy like skips or irmat would have diffused this information if it is not in accordance with fda rules my best emiliano > > All compounded medications must carry a maximum expiration date of 6 > months according to the FDA. >
Guest guest
The last time I ordered LDN from Skip's Pharmacy I noticed that instead of a one year expiration date, the new Rx had only a 6 month one. I called Skip's and was told that they changed the color on some of the capsules and according to the law, when that happens they can only give it a 6 month duration until it is established that the change did not impact the longevity. I suspect that by now or very soon it will be back to a year.
