Guest guest
My boyfriend intends to start LDN and is taking several medications. Does anyone have any experience or feedback with how LDN interacts with: Ativan (Lorzepam) once per day... sometimes Oxycodene 10/325 1 per day... sometimes 1/2 an Ambien for sleep. Thank you so much helpful friends.
Guest guest
Hello In response to your message re: Ambien and Ativan. In the LDN.org, there is a Warning for people taking narcotics, while taking LDN, you shouldn't take any narcotic medication or relaxing pill. Read below Cautionary warnings: Because LDN blocks opioid receptors throughout the body for three or four hours, people using medicine that is an opioid agonist, i.e. narcotic medication — such as Ultram (tramadol), morphine, Percocet, Duragesic patch or codeine-containing medication — should not take LDN until such medicine is completely out of one's system. Patients who have become dependant on daily use of narcotic-containing pain medication may require 10 days to 2 weeks of slowly weaning off of such drugs entirely (while first substituting full doses of non-narcotic pain medications) before being able to begin LDN safely. bye, [low dose naltrexone] LDN, Ambien and Ativan - any conflict? My boyfriend intends to start LDN and is taking several medications. Guest guest
I thought that Ambien was a non narcotic since it is a sleep medication, and ativan is for anxiety. I take a small amount of valium to help my muscles relax while I am going through this horrible pinched nerve pain. My holistic doctor wrote the script and she also wrote it for the ldn. From: orozcomaria39 <orozcomaria39@...>To: low dose naltrexone Sent: Sat, February 12, 2011 12:33:19 PMSubject: Fw: [low dose naltrexone] LDN, Ambien and Ativan - any conflict?
