I got sick (I don't think a flare) on Thursday and have been backsliding ever since. I have been having headaches, and the pain in my neck and upper body is back and my eyes and mouth are much worst again. I was so hopeful that this would help me but my Sjogrens, fibro, connective tissue just seems to be progressing. I am also dealing with extreme lower back pain due to a problem with spinal stenosis, and some mildly bulging discs (which I just found out from an MRI). I don't know if I am still fighting off the illness which is causing the backslide or what. I have to take 600mg of ibuprofen three times a day just to make it through the day since I cannot take any opiates. My chiro said it would probably be good to see a

surgeon about the nerve impingement and get it cleaned out.Any suggestions to help me feel better? And anyone had back surgery due to disc or spinal stenosis? I am currently taking 3mg every night of ldn, plus other supplements such as bio-tears for my eyes, turmeric, vit d3, 5 htp, b-12, bcomplex, magnesium, CoQ10, milk thistle and krill oil and flax also. And I am on bioidentical hormones, plus 2.5 mg of DHEA. I did read that milk thistle flushes the estradiol out of your body. Please tell me this is temporary due to my illness. Should I start taking some alpha lipoic acid? Thank you all for your constant support and help. Remaining hopeful.

Have you looked into DLPA for pain?  I use it and find it very helpful.  I used to be on major pain meds for back and neck related issues.JaxiOn Sat, Feb 12, 2011 at 8:19 AM, Debruycker <debruyckerm@...> wrote:

Dear

Sorry wrong spelling

Diclofenac sodium helps to reduce inflammation and to reduce pain. Diclofenac

sodium works by blocking the production of some of the body chemicals that cause

inflammation, pain, stiffness, tenderness, swelling and increased temperature.

By reducing inflammation in conditions affecting muscles and joints Diclofenac

sodium helps to increase strength and movement

Brgds

Thanks.  I saw my holistic doctor not too long ago and she reviewed my list and

took some off believe it or not. As you know having had disc issues it is really

painful.  I am supposed to see a surgeon for an evaluation of my MRI results.  I

just know I can't stand this pain in my left lower back and leg anymore.  I need

some relief.  What is diclofenic?

Thanks.

hi mary, sorry to read about your current problems

sounds like you are doing what you can, that sounds a lot of ibuprofen, when i

had inflammatory issues doc gave my diclofenic and low dose diazepam, reason for

back pain is i had surgery on my neck in the 80's for decompression of 1st and

2nd vetebrae caused by car accident

suggest you review all your vitamins and supplements as they may be toxic to you

body with pseudo effect

but stick with the ldn

all i take now is ldn 4.5ml, evening primrose oil [not omega] and ginseng

i would review all your supplements/vitamins with your health care professional

as it would appear pain control is the priority

have flused out many of the vits/supp as they had a reverse effects

good luck/peter/london/ms primary progressive
