I am curious what " heavy duty " use is. I am on 4mg of pred. I didn't

want to get on it, but that was the only way I felt I could wean off my

50mcg Fentanyl patch and vicodin. I am now off all opiate pain meds,

thanks largely to steroids, an awesome husband, and my indomitable will.

I started LDN a few days ago (one day after taking off my last patch of

Fentanyl which I decreased over a few months).

I plan to ease off the steroids as the LDN kicks in. I just couldn't

come up with a better plan, and my doc, while he is a compassionate man,

was quick to prescribe opiates, but not too knowledgeable about how to

help me get off them or how to deal with the pain without opiates.
