enlarged spleen and LDN???

My son, now 20 years old, was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis last year and has since been on mobic 7.5 mg daily, LDN 3.5 mg, and a modified diet and has done quite well with only occasional morning hip discomfort. However, last week he developed a sore throat with mild swollen glands but no fever. Went to the college health center and was found to have a tender, enlarged spleen. A CBC, mono test, and strept test were all negative. He is feeling better and it appears to be a cold but with the enlarged spleen. I don't think this has anything to do with the LDN but thought I would e-mail this group for your thoughts. Thanks, B
