Guest guest
Hello, I'm new to the group and a little confused. I have high NK cells in my uterus (CD56 and CD57). Gynacologist wants me to have IVIg, Dexamethasone and Clexane in conjunction with IVF cycle. Fertility Care doctor suggested LDN. Here's the confusion: It seems to me my immune system is overactive, hence the elevated NK cells attacking our healthy embryos before they get a chance to implant. If LDN boosts the immune system, won't that only make matters worse? Don't I need to suppress my immune system rather than boost it? If you can understand my confusion/frustration and are able to help, please let me know. Also, if I plan to do IVF in 2 months time and commence IVIg at that time, along with the other drugs mentinoed above, will taking LDN from now until then, cause problems? Can I take LDN at the same time as the other drugs/therapies or should I cease LDN before commencing IVIg and Dexamethasone/Clexane? Meanwhile, I commenced LDN a few days ago (2mg nightly) and all I want to do is sleep all the time. I tried LDN about 3 years ago and it was the same problem then. I was on a dose of 4.5mg then though, which is why we have recommenced a 2mg this time, but it seems I'm having the same result. Can anyone please offer any advice in this regard? Thank you so much for your assistance.
