I also started a Candida cleanse 2 days ago. It is a 14 day cleanse. Does anyone

have an idea of how long it takes to notice results with the cleanse if that is

the problem. I am using Candidase and coconut oil along with cutting out sugar

and gluten. "

All depends on how severe your infection is - is took me about 3 years to

totally get rid of the problem (mine was systemic).

I won't go through all of the treatments I used, but I do have a tip for you and

everyone else fighting this problem: How do you know when the candida is gone?

Answer (and this is actual a valid test): Before you go to bed fill a short

glass with water and place it on a bedside table. When you wake up in the

morning, first thing you do is to wait for saliva to collect in your mouth, but

don't swallow it, gently drool it into the glass onto the surface of the water

(don't spit it out!). Watch the spit for a bit - if you see white strands start

sinking to the bottom, that's yeast and you're still infected.

My acupuncturist told me about that simple test but I didn't believe her,

sounded TOO simple - I'm kinda skeptical by nature and an engineer, generally

have a " prove it " attitude about most stuff - so of course when I got home I

googled for an hour or so, and sure enough, it's been medically proven to be a

valid test!
