Eileen,

As long as you won't need opiates, LDN doesn't affect anaesthesia. But if

you need opiates for pain control afterward, it has happened on occasion

that someone has needed longer time to get rid of the LDN from their system

and Dr Skip says that at least one person he knows was unable to get

analgesia for pain until the LDN wore off.

But as said, most people just take 1 day off, and that's all you had

the opportunity for, so there it is. For the record, Dr Skip recommends 72

hours to be absolutely sure. Some people feel that's too long to give it

for diseases like MS that often seem to backslide into symptoms with

dropped doses of LDN.
