Guest guest
Now I realize that those of us who have been ill with CFS for a long time, in my case 20 yrs, are impatient to find something that will really " work " .......but seriously 4 days! You need to stop looking at yourself second by second, stand back look at the big picture. This is a complex illness, with many layers of accumulated toxins, viruses, co infections, that took yrs to accumulate in our bodies. Certainly what you need is and attitude of commitment to the LDN. A commitment to give it some time before jumping to any conclusions or disillusionments. 4 days is nothing. Try to commit at least to one month. At the end of the month see if there have been any changes. Keep a simple journal, where you jot down any change you may notice. I really want to say you should commit to 3 mos, but get the feeling that you are allowing your impatience to run away with itself and would get in the way of a 3 mo commitment. Everyone will notice changes, improvement in symptoms at different speeds. So it is impossible to know what speed your improvement will go at. One things for sure, unless you slow down and give it a chance by putting the impatience in check you may never know. To answer your question, I myself noticed very small but perceptible improvements in about 2 weeks. > > I have taken LDN the past four nights with virtually no change in my condition (chronic fatigue, brain fog). > > In your experiences when did LDN start to help with your symptoms regardless of it was for MS, Chron's, CFS or something else? > > 1) Days? > 2) weeks? > 3) Month? > 4) Longer? >
Guest guest
Months and months - nothing works so fast unless it`s pain killers - you have to be patient - it`s not hurting to take it so just keep doing so every evening and in time you will realise you are feeling better and better. Did someone tell you it`ll "work" in days? If so they are wrong!Bev low dose naltrexone From: mikebaldwin@...Date: Sun, 6 Mar 2011 18:58:46 +0000Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Low long before see LDN results? Guest guest
I noticed a difference in my sinus issues and TMJ pain I was having in about 3 days. A also noticed more energy within the first few days. I'm taking it for Crohn's disease and that's not 100% yet but I am hopeful. I think it depends on what you consider "working". I saw some results fast. I did do a serious candida cleanse before I started it and continue to eat low carb.MeaghanSent from my iPhoneOn Mar 6, 2011, at 7:55 PM, Bev Kean <bevkean777@...> wrote: Months and months - nothing works so fast unless it`s pain killers - you have to be patient - it`s not hurting to take it so just keep doing so every evening and in time you will realise you are feeling better and better. Guest guest
I understand the "instant gratification thing" but give LDN a chance. Your condition did not occur in 4 days, probably years in the making. My wife's pain and IBS diminished in about 6 weeks, not entirely gone but on the way.SterlingFrom: okieroyal <mikebaldwin@...>Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Low long before see LDN results?low dose naltrexone Date: Sunday, March 6, 2011, 10:58 AM I have taken LDN the past four nights with virtually no change in my condition (chronic fatigue, brain fog).
