My PCP prescribed LDN for me, now my Neuro prescribes  it for patients who ask.  Ask your PCP, there should be no reason he/she shouldn't.  I've been taking 4.5 mg 1 daily at bed time since I started 2-4 years ago.  Now many suggest building up to that dose but when I started, it was just 4.5mg daily,

Remember it is an FDA approved drug and has little side-effects (vivid dreams),  You can build up to 4.5 mg but I don't think that is necessary,LarryOn Sat, Mar 5, 2011 at 11:39 PM, <low dose naltrexone > wrote:

Is anyone aware of the terrible situation over here in the EU? They have

forbid compounding pharmacies from making up our LDN or anything that has to

be compounded! They can only provide us with the liquid now.

Any suggestions?

I have Lyme Disease (neuroborreliosis) that was diagnosed as multiple sclerosis (MS) April 2004. I took Rebif, which darn near killed me.

While I was still really confused as to what was going on inside of me, this group helped me escape the medical-industrial-complex MS cult. Carefully following the procedure of 1.5 mg/day at 10pm, for 30 days, 3.0 mg/day, and experimented with 4.5 mg/day in 2006. I was still getting sick, so I switched to the German Intravenous Calcium Ethyl amino Phosphate (EAP)in 2007 for one year.

FINALLY, hired a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor (LLMD), was diagnosed with Lyme and started antibiotics in 2008. Had to switch LLMDs in 2010. My new LLMD was keen on trying LDN, so I restarted my LDN.

So far, I feel that I'm so sick that my current script of LDN is not helping me as much as hoped. The past three of four nights I have been remiss on taking my LDN.

Today, I am using a four wheel walker to move through the house. Beginning to think that the yeast in my intestines is my major set challenge. To combat the yeast, I have changed my diet in an effort to starve the yeast, and also taking 2 Nystatin tablets four times per day.
