Guest guest
> > I just joined the group last night. ==>Hi Janet. Welcome to our group. > I know I have allergies and have known about the candidia yeast problem. I had it years ago but have been doing pretty good. But this year I decided to loose some weight and used WW program. Well, I bought their foods to use at work and now my yeast problem is out of control. My face, again, has broke out with skin problems and my neck. I lost 20 pounds and am 'stuck' there. I know watching my intake will help give me the boost I need. ==>Allergies are very misunderstood by medical science because they cannot see the truth since the allergy business makes them too much money. See the article " Allergies, What They Are & How to Treat Them " in the our Group's Files (left-hand menu) in the Folder " C) Allergies " . Also see the Folder " C) Germ & Antibody Theories Are False " . ==>The reason candida causes skin problems is because candida produces over 79 different kinds of toxins, and along with toxins from foods, etc. the body's best way of getting rid of toxins is through the skin so that vital inner organs are protected. ==>There are no quick fixes. To cure candida it requires building up the immune system so it will be strong enough to " make " candida change back into the friendly organism it is supposed to be in the body. That requires proper nutrients, which is diet plus supplements, and cutting off candida's food supply, which is mainly sugars and high carb foods (carbs are any foods not classified as protein or fat). Also you can help your body detoxify - see the article " How to Detoxify Effectively " in our Files in the Folder " C) Treatments " . Also see the " C) Skin Treatments Folder, and others. > What can I use on my face to help relieve the itching while I'm on the program to help the inner part? All around my nose, eye brows and forehead it's red, inflamed, flakey and itchy. I usually used Nistatin cream but this time it's not working. I couldn't find anything in the posts to help. Because I've been on the WW program I've been watching my fat intake so i'm sure it'll take longer for my body to get used to the increase in oils. I plan on learning alot in this group. ==>Apply coconut oil to your skin, and after pat on some baking soda. The good saturated fats, i.e. coconut oil, butter, lard, fish oils, oil soluble vitamins A, D, & E, omega-3, etc. are all so very important for overall health and they also cleanse the body, even chelating out heavy metals. They also strengthen every cell in the body and help them detoxify. Bee
Guest guest
Don't fear the die-off. It's not a bad experience for everyone. I've been on the diet for 4 weeks, and haven't really felt any different reactions than before. I'm sure I'll get some die-off down the road, but die-off is nothing compared to a bad quality of life you'll get from doing nothing! In fact, I WELCOME die-off... please come??? The sooner the die-off, the sooner wellness begins. And if I've always had these allergies why did it > only appear after I was pregnant. ==>Allergies are caused by a depressed immune system, which " in turn " is caused by many things, but mainly: 1) lack of proper nutrients, and 2) an overload of toxins from foods, drinks, drugs, medicines, mercury fillings, body care and cleaning products, the environment, etc. Also candida overgrowth is caused by a depressed immune system, and it is common for it to occur during or after pregnancy. During pregnancy a lot of the body's resources are used, which can deplete nutrition for your own body. ==>You wouldn't " always have had " allergies IF they didn't show up until after you were pregnant. Allergic reactions are simply healing reactions that the body produces in order to get rid of toxins and to clean up the body. ==>Allergic reactions do not " have to " include sinus problems. Skin itching is caused by the immune system " trying to " deal with the overload of toxins in your system. The immune system produces histamines in order to get rid of the toxins. ==>Allergies are very misunderstood and misinterpreted by conventional medicine and many holistic practitioners. The fact is that " supposed " allergies are nothing more than healing reactions. See these articles for more information: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu4_1.php > > I've looked at the files and think that maybe this is something I want to try, but I'm really scared about die-off symptoms and my itching getting worse before better, I'm at a breaking point with my nerves and frustration. Sorry long, just needed to vent, not sure anyone really understands what tortue this really is and my quality of like sucks right now. ==>I understand how very frustrating this can be. Been there, done that! LOL! It would be very wise of you to ensure your body gets the nutrients it requires in order to turn your allergic/healing reactions around. Only the body can heal itself! But it must be provided with the nutrients it needs in order to do its job of healing and maintaining health, which is what this program is all about (mainly diet plus supplements). Also see the article " Foods that Damage, Foods that Heal " , which is the 1st article here: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu1.php ==>I was " supposedly " allergic to many things before I cured my candida over 20 years ago, but during the program my reactions gradually decreased, and in the end I'm not allergic to anything, except to toxins of course! For example, I got terrible rashes, itching, and welts from animal dander. When my daughter's dog would simply brush against my bare skin the reaction was immediate and horrible, and being around dogs or cats gave me migraine headaches. ==>You can't go wrong following " nature's laws " by providing what your body needs to heal naturally. Guest guest
Thank you Bee and Debra for responding so quickly. Just spoke with my allergist and he wants to put me on prednisone now, NO Way! My mom had to be on that for years due to a lung disease and I know what it does to the body. I'm looking over all the files, it's just a little overwhelming in my state of mind right now trying to figure where to start. Debra, I'm glad you found relief, I'm belong to another group here and there are hundreds of people suffering right along with me with no relief. I will get started right away. I didn't metion either that being in water when itching just make it unbearable, so showering and swimming (my favorite) is like a distant memory. I have to get doped up just to cleanse. Guest guest
I think I'm starting to figure out where some of the toxins your body is reacting to are coming from. How many total medications are you on? Any others besides these??? (Including Advil, stomach meds, etc...) The answer is " yes " ... those meds will interfere with your healing. They are part of your problem, not part of your solution. I'm not advocating cold turkey, but you should ease off them just as you ease onto the diet. Bee can answer about the synthroid, however. After you read all of the files, you will understand why they aren't a good thing... and you'll understand many of the things you have been told by your doctor/tv commercials/magazines simply are not true. Guest guest
I began having allergies at a young age. When I was 10, they took me to the allergist for allergy testing, and discovered I was allergic to everything. I did allergy shots for 3 years before quitting them. I outgrew the seasonal allergies in my late 20's, and no longer need to take antihistamines for that, or anything else. In my uneducated opinion, one cause of allergies is too much antibiotic use, as I did as a child. I believe the antibiotics lead to candida (stage one), which progesses to allergies, and many other auto-immune conditions over time. And I believe these conditions affect each of us differently. I know that predisnose is just about the worst drug ever invented, and it led to a big downward spiral for me just over 3 years ago. I'm sure if you follow the diet and supplements EXACTLY, you will recover from your problem. If you follow it half-way, you won't. Bee can answer your thyroid questions. She lost hers many years ago, and has to take medication herself, I think. Doug

However, just know that they are all toxic and any toxins interfere with natural processes and healing. However, you can decide later, after you've built up your nutrients. Candida causes thyroid problems, and some people have been able to gradually go off meds as they progress on this program. What does Byetta and Zetia do ? Dr. Mercola says that once you start on them your body > becomes dependent upon them... Hi, I'm another Newbie. I too have had Thyroid issues. In 2004, I was diagnosed w/ Graves Disease. Was put on PTU till late 2006. When my Endo Doc declared me 'healed'! No surgery or radiation. He lowered my doses every 2 wk.s till I was completely removed. Research showed that only very unusual cases are actually cured this way. I can declare, he's a nut! I still show signs of elevated Anti-thyroid peroxidase. As Bee states, keep on testing if you want to try to eliminate it. Everything has gone down hill since being off the PTU. Almost back to where I was in 2004. Losing my hair (all over). Cracked bleeding hands when exposed to water & cold. Tired! too tired to think or remember. Thirsty all the time, difficulty swallowing. Easily bruised. Muscle weakness. You probably already know most of the list. My main issues right now, how to get rid of the Nail Fungus without the dangerous meds? Thinking of trying the Oil of Cloves? But other than the Thyroid meds, all the other info here has truth. I've been living Low-Carb/ no carb, w/ high protein diet for almost 4 years now. My body just stopped tolerating any of it in 2003. With the thyroid straight & diet. I lost almost 80 lb.s. The weight loss was emphasized, because I had been warned that I was in 'Metabolic Syndrome " . So I decided it was time to get serious about losing those lbs! It helped my digestion, strength & over all body pains. Also, stopped having Migraines. Yeah! The supplements are already things that Thyroid patients should be doing any way. From my investigation, the only thing I have concerns are over the salt intake. And I hate to lose my Splenda! It's taken me so long to get used to it! So maybe we can all help each other out. Good luck & look forward to hearing more from you.

Guest guest
Dear Newbie! YES, candida is linked to menthal health. I can attest to that. My moods are much more even after I started the diet and my depression and anxiety have almost completely disappeared. And I have followed the program for only 1.5 months. I still have bad days (like today), but the healing process takes time and, at least in my case, I know that these will be last to go completely. Ask yourself if you had self-confidence issues before candida. If no then try to follow Bee`s program and see if they clear up as candida dies off. If yes, perhaps you need to do some emotional healing (I suggest CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) which is extremely effective for emotional problems, it could help you through your healing process as well. There are a few self-help books available. 'Feeling Good' by Dr. Burns is one of the best and I learned a lot from it). Best of luck! Ivanda > > Hi Everyone, > > I am new to this forum. Guest guest
Dear Newbie, I also am new to this group (about a month). I strongly encourage you to read the articles Bee sent to you when you joined the group. The main one that explains the program is 45 pages long and has a tremendous amount of information, and will answer a lot of questions. A friend printed this out for me to encourage me to consider the diet! Also, take time to absorb it, take notes, and figure out how you will implement the plan, i.e., with what you will replace the foods you eliminate and gathering your supplements before you need them. Work to really understand about the fat/protein/carb ratios and figure out how to change your current intake SLOWLY (I think I went a bit too quickly, changing my diet to Bee's when I really didn't understand as much as I should have). I used Fit Day (you can either do it online, or buy it, which I did because I am on dial-up) for a couple of weeks to figure out what I already was eating as well as how to use Fit Day, before I started changing my diet. It sounds like you have a lot of information to think about from the Raw Food site, and all this new information probably is confusing. Try to take your time as you sort through everything. If I've told you things you already know, I apologize. You just sound like I felt a few weeks ago! --Rhe > > Is raw food bad for candida? >
Guest guest
> > Is raw food bad for candida? ==>Hi . It isn't that raw food is bad for candida, it's that people with candida have poor digestion and raw vegetables are very hard on digestion, and so are fibres (fibers). If you read the articles you will understand. Bee

Gracia Hi: I am not sure if I belong here because I have not been diagnosed with anything yet. About a month ago I went for a checkup with my primary care physician & complained of being very tired. We did a blood test and a few days later I got a call saying that my cholesterol level was high & the doctor wanted to repeat a blood test in two months. I also had some bacteria in my urine. I attributed to the bacteria to several courses of antibiotics I had been on due to ongoing and never-ending dental work. I ate low fat yogurt and cranberry juice and had no problems. & I assumed the chlosterol wasn't too bad as it could wait two months. Last week, I visited my psychiatrist who took a look at those lab tests. I also had a high TSH level (5.34 and the range on the test is .4-4.50/mIU/l) and she was very surprised that my doctor had not mentioned it. So I went online and saw that I had some of the symptoms of hypothyroidism, including lethargy, depression, decreased libido. And I have read there is some link between high cholesterol & a malfunctiong thyroid as well as dental problems???. I don't know if this has any relevance but I also have a high number of eosinophils (white blood cells.) So, if you are still with me, any advice on what to do? As I am typing this, my first thought is to forget about my dr. & find an endocrinologist. Also, can anyone me to a Web site with accurate information on thyroid conditions.
